I find this the best Indian. They’re buffet is quality, always fresh, the Naan, tandoori chicken & they’re curries are amazing!

WOW!!! Talk about delicious flavor! I poured the Chicken Masala over the yellow rice with vegetables and it was incredible. Buttery tasty flavor that your taste buds fall in love with. I am new to the area and had been looking for an Indian buffet and this was definitely the spot. I loved it! Nancy was an amazing host with a warm upbeat personality that makes me feel like going there every week. I can’t wait to take everyone I know to this delicious buffet of Indian Cuisine!!! Hats Off!!!

Not really sure how many stars to give as you must eat to really have an opinion on the food, correct? We never got that far as we sat ourselves down after no host came out. Then waited and waited. It was during the lunch buffet and they had self help water so I grabbed one of those, grabbed a menu then quickly decided the Buffett looked«old». There was 2 pieces of chicken out– looked dry and was uncovered. Lots of tiki Marsala sauce. The garbanzo beans were in very cloudy water. It was 1:15, maybe the end of Buffett time? I will never know. There was a party demanding service. I watched that whole uncomfortable exchange go down. Something about taking their wine on the patio. Server/hostess had to ask the boss who was cooking in the back. Answer was no, so everyone the the place learned, def no. Ok, yes– the server/hostess finally acknowledge us. I asked if the buffet would be replenished or if we should order off the menu. She didn’t seem to know about the Buffett, will ask. My friend said– let’s just get out of here. Thing is I love Indian food. The place was small and had about 35% of its tables full. Not to bad for the desert. Not like there’s a ton of Indian options out here– will go back, for dinner. The Buffett looked scary.

Had never had Indian food before. My fiancé and I preferred that our waiter suggest our order for us lol since he was more familiar with their items. He chose well! We really liked the chicken curry.

Dropped in for dinner on a Sunday night. Surprised to find an amazing dinner buffet. Perhaps the best Indian Buffet we’ve had in a long time. Tandoori chicken, curried lamb, chicken tikka masala, naan. Nothing on our plates that we didn’t enjoy. Will definitely recommend and come back.

Staff are very nice but the food isn’t very good. They close very early at 8:30 for a Saturday night.

My wonderful wife and I decided to eat indian food after walking at the mall and looking at retro games. This indian restaurant was the closest from where we were because we were so hungry and my guts were grawling. When we arrived, the waitress was so nice and sat us right away. She brought us waters and was very nice. I ordered chicken Tikka masala an it was delicious. My wife ordered mushroom masala and she liked it too. I really liked this indian restaurant and will come again just like Apu from the Simpsons say.

Had a really nice experience at Naan House in Rancho Mirage yesterday. We both participated in their AYCE Indian lunch buffet for $ 11.99. This was after yoga and we came hungry! Nancy the owner greeted us and was hustling and bustling around the floor welcoming her guests during lunch hour. As you can see we both tried a lil bit of everything. My favorite was the tandoori chicken, flavorful, and well grilled. I also liked their vegetarian options such as the daal(lentils), saag(cooked greens), Chana masala(chickpea stew), and their eggplant dish was really flavorful too! Your choice of naan bread came with the meal and there was plenty of accompaniments to go with our food. Shamelessly, I had about 3 plates of food It was quite a diverse group of people coming in to dine, seemed like some were regulars while others were dropping in for lunch during a shopping day. Service was very friendly, you can tell the owner really loves her restaurant. We don’t have options for Indian food in the ECV, and I liked it enough to come again! Interested to see what dinner is like and how the dishes are a la carte. Thanks Nancy for a nice experience!

Not sure about the other Indian food buffets in the area as we are not from the area, this spot is a pretty good option for lunch buffet if you’re a fan of Indian inspired food. The naan here is dense and not too crunchy, so if you’re a fan of crispy and more airy naan this place does not have that. The garlic naan is on point! They have a fair option of chicken based curries and masala, no goat curry though for lunch. There are also other veggie based curries and sauces as well. The flavor and textures are all there, there is just nothing outstanding or truly remarkable about the food served here. Service was decent and the location was in the heart of a shopping/entertainment complex.

Delicious! Needed no seasoning as was a perfect blend of flavors. Perfect! Décor is attempted at home like. It would be successful in that attempt except that it’s in a strip mall. Facing a Rancho 16. Location is convenient but takes away from the experience. This place needs to come to Desert Hot Springs. It would draw a taste deprived ravenous clientele. Five5 starsTry the coffee!!!

Really dropped the ball!!! Based on the reviews and our cravings for some good Indian food, we decided to try out the Naan House. Although the people were very nice, the buffet was poorly stocked, the meat dishes were watery and lacking meat, the staff repeatedly disappeared until one patron actually had to enter the kitchen to get some service! The men’s bathroom was out of order and the women’s bathroom was a complete mess. We were provided with no forks, plates and had to wait 10 minutes for the naan that went with the buffet. Other customers were noticeably disappointed with the food and the lack of service. Honestly, we would have walked out but we were starving after a fun morning of site seeing. I would definitely skip this place until they can get their act together. I am praying that we only walk away with the dissatisfaction that comes from a bad experience!

Located near the Regal Theaters on Dina Shore, Home Depot etc. A friend and I went after seeing The Martian. It was evening so the Buffett was finished that means A La Carte. My Friend had a Lamb dish and I had the Vegetable Korma, some garlic Naan and we had hot Indian tea and Green tea, also Rice. My Korma was wonderful and my friend said his Lamb was quite good. Comparing Naan House to the few other Indian Restaurants in Coachella Valley is hard since I mostly have been elsewhere for their Buffett. «Made to order» compared to buffet is not really fair. That being said, this was excellent food both upon eating and an hour and a half later. I will be returning to Naan House. Bob of Palm Desert PS: a really big variety of a la carte dishes and combos.

Just had a late lunch here… the buffet was kept open for us… Krista can’t eat aged cheezes, and asked if they had saag paneer; spinach and fresh cheeze. They cooked up a small batch for her. She also had a few bites of rice pudding which she thought was so so… keep in mind buffet. She says 3.5 solid I say 4 stars for effort. K agree’ and changed hers to 3.75 stars lol. Polite service with a smile and made us feel like we were old friends…

I love indian food. Put tumeric on anything and I will eat it like a fat kid eats his aple pie! Chicken tikka masala over basmati rice and garlic naan on the side? I can eat it every day! Naan House is not the best. Their lunch buffet doesn’t have too much valume. Because of that there is not much secelction. Chicken masala, meatball curry, tandoori chicken all was very delicous. Salad and desert bar was not fresh. Owner lady(forgot her name) was very friendly. The server guy was kinda slow.(mentaly and physically) But overall for $ 13 I really enjoyed my lunch.

Worst Indian restaurants ever to dine in! To begin with when we first walked in it took them 15 mins to get us seated when we were the first ones to arrive at 7:00 pm. Menus were not offered to us until asked. Best part is when our chicken tikka arrived we did not have silverware or plates to eat it. Once again upon requesting plates and silverware were placed on our table! While we were seated we saw two other couples who left because they were not greeted until 20 mins after their arrival. Icing on the cake is the waiter who is clueless about restaurant etiquette and seems lost in wonderland. Once again it took him 20 minutes to give us our check with just one other table being occupied. And the FINALE he ended up charging us $ 6.00 extra four order. NEVEREVERGOINGTOVISITTHISPLACEAGAIN.

My husband and I went here tonight as it has been far too long since we’ve been able to dine at an Indian restaurant and its a very short drive from our home. My first impressions were the smell — you could smell a delightful aroma from the parking lot. Upon entering, we were greeted by a lady named Nancy. Told us we could pick our table and asked if we were interested in the buffet or a la carte menu. We chose buffet. I’m only slightly familiar with Indian cuisine, so I absolutely wanted to try a bit of everything. The food was good, but not great. The chicken tikka masala was a huge hit and the naan bread was amazing, but a few things were slightly dry, overcooked and lacked the flavors I have tasted elsewhere. I’d go back since I felt the food was reasonably priced and the employees were friendly, but I’d probably stick to ordering a dish cooked fresh.

The food is delicious, the owner was amazingly professional! Got off on a bad start because they apparently only serve wine by the bottle(no, not the finest of wines!) so I had to challenge that. Asked for plain Naan and got garlic(which I love, but not when you are headed to a meeting!) They have a lunch buffet that is definitely worth a visit. I compliment the owner for staying gracious despite«my» issues, haha! Come check it out

Was in town and tried to weekend buffet. Nancy, the owner, was as nice as could be and quickly placed fresh-baked garlic naan on our table. The buffet options are limited and include very little protein – the butter chicken at the end of the line is cut into tiny cubes, and the tandori chicken consists of small drumsticks and a few thighs. On the other hand, a choice of rice and plentiful veggies stretch the buffet a bit, adding value and diversity. An eggplant dish and a stir-fried zucchini dish were big hits. Restaurant comes across as a bit dark – many patrons asked if it was still open, and that is never a good sign of a lively place. May return when there are more chicken or goat options in the buffet.
