Deja’s View Photography

I was lucky enough to have Deja photograph my twin sons when they were newborns and shortly after their first birthday. Working with two baby boys requires a lot of patience and a special presence. During our newborn session my boys were cranky AND going through a lovely spit-​up phase. But Deja delivered! I am thrilled with the photo’s from both sessions. I should also mention my 2 year old niece, sister and mother were also part of our 2^nd shoot. Talk about a lot of cooks in the kitchen! Luckily, Deja is comfortable both in front of and behind the camera. She is a dream with kids. Her props are gorgeous and her retouching technique is spot-​on. I worked at an NYC fashion advertising agency for 8+ years and I am very picky about over retouched photographs, especially when children are involved. Deja is appropriate and easy-​handed in her techniqure. She has a quick turnaround as well; our final edit was ready within a week of the shoot.
The pictures of my family are amazing and we will all treasure them for years to come. I cannot thank Deja enough for her beautiful pictures. You will not be disappointed with Deja!

What a great find! Deja clearly has an affinity for children of all ages and photography, which shines through her pictures. She takes great care to choose outfits, settings, and color schemes to match the season and personality of the children. I will be going back to her over and over again!
