Cello’s Pantry

We used Cello’s Pantry to cater two parties we held in our home this week. Every step of the process was easy and fun, beginning with sitting down with Bonnie (the owner) to watch her design the perfect hors d’ouvres menu (she would have allowed me to do it but I wanted her expertise.) She came up with 7 appetizers including their famous Bourbon Meatballs. The final menu also included Filo Cups with Roasted Duck, Goat Cheese and House Made Marmalade, which were a huge hit with our guests — as were the pot stickers and apricot tarts. I was told her staff member would show up an hour before our cocktail party and indeed, she pulled into our driveway at that exact moment. Our kitchen was left spotless (perhaps cleaner than before?) and all the leftovers were neatly stacked in containers inside the refrigerator. The prices were reasonable — particularly so when you realize you don’t have to do ANYTHING — and using a caterer made it possible to truly enjoy our own party. I can’t recommend this business more highly.

Yummy, ready to go meals. Great selection of salads and sides. My kids love the Devils eggs. We’ve stopped here often for some quick «to go» picnic food before heading up 74! Great location.

We had dinner for 6 people, picked it up, heated it in the oven, served with fine china and silver, it was elegant and delicious and all for $ 60.00
Dinner for two for $ 20,00. It was so good that we are having dinner for six next week too

I attended a business event that Cello’s catered and the food was healthy and delicious and the catering staff were all very helpful and friendly. I’ve also stopped by for lunch and had a great Turkey sandwich at their pantry location. I highly recommend them to anyone who looks for quality food and service!

Ran in to pick up a dessert, last minute, they were 10 mins from closing time. They were awesome. Super helpful — offering ideas and high quality food & desserts.

They have the best coffee! We are looking forward to trying the $ 20 dinner deal and exploring the deli more. Also looks like a fun place to shop for foodies or myself.

Stopped in one day to their newer Rancho Mirage location… the young girl that staffed the counter was excellent. Let me try some samples and made a couple of recommendations. I tried the chicken salad which was superb… they had some great stuff.
It’s higher end and the food is excellent.

I hired Cello’s Pantry to cater a 60^th birthday party I threw for myself at my home. The party was for 47 guests. Bonnie and her staff did an outstanding job!
I had spoken to several caterers but found them challenged by the party theme I had in mind, or I was not confident that they could smoothly execute and handle the logistics.
I had wanted to do a birthday party around a mid-​century modern theme. Bonnie rose to the challenge and created an hors d’œuvre menu inspired by 1960’s party food but with a 21^st century twist. The guests raved about the food and really loved the updated caramelized onion dip.
I had a wait person and bar tender and my guests raved about both of them. Lots and lots of complements about how attentive they were. They were excellent.
Throughout the process Bonnie was professional and extremely timely with communications.
I would not hesitate to hire Cello’s Pantry again for my next catered event.

This place is fantastic! I have a 96 year old grandmother who is no longer able to cook. I was able to purchase the «grab and go» meal for her and she said it was absolutely delicious. In addition, there are frozen, ready made meals and these are perfect to have at home for nights when you just do not have the time to cook dinner. I bought some of these for my grandmother who is a picky eater and used to be a gourmet cook in her younger years and she said the food was outstanding and that says a lot. I will definitely visit this establishment again. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Healthy fast food. They have a verity of foods. I was impressed with the vegetarian/​vegan selection. If you please have some herb lemonade.

Our first time here
Went in morning right after a long hike. Ordered a croissant turkey, cheese, tomato, scrambled egg sandwich.
They made fresh while we waited and served hot. AMAZINGLY GOOD. The croissant itself was flaky and moist inside very light texture, no need to add utter or jam.
They have an excellent concept of restaurant quality food, freshly prepared but ready for on the go and takeout or you can eat it there
Great market if fresh sauces, Chinese food, chicken Lomane
This is going to become a regular stop for us

We stopped yesterday to check it out. Great place with wonderful food and a weekly dinner take home option. Wine, chocolates, hostess gifts. We will absolutely return!

We love the place! Picked up the Valentine’s week grab-​n-​go and it was great. Delicious salad, tender beef fillet, veggies and mashed potatoes with a (to die for) chocolate mousse desert and it cost only $ 20. I could not have made it myself for the price.
Also, the owner and her staff were very helpful and warm. They gave us samples of many of their items. It is a great resource for grab-​n-​go, gourmet stuff and catering.

I’m thrilled about the Cello’s Pantry that opened in Rancho Mirage. Their Grab N Go menu selections are filling and reasonably priced. You can even add wine for a small fee. The menu changes weekly and I like that there is even a small dessert! For me it’s a great way to grab dinner on the way home from work. It doesn’t hurt that my dry cleaner is in the same location. I’ll be trying out their other bakery items soon.

What a wonderful experience! We decided on rather short notice to host a Holiday Party at our house for the staff of our business. We planned on having 35 guests and Bonnie created a fabulous menu for us. There was filet on crostini, crab cakes, dates wrapped with bacon, deviled eggs, an extravagant cheese and fruit tray, a huge tray of mixed gourmet crackers with hummus, smoked salmon mousse and caramelized onion dip and a beautiful assortment of bite-​sized desserts. Each item was beautiful, presented nicely and absolutely delicious. Everyone raved about how special everything was and the portions were just perfect — late bites finished about 15 minutes before the end of the party. I cannot recommend Cello’s Pantry highly enough and look forward to making it a regular stop for garb and go entrees as well as my catering needs.

Bonnie and Tom are setting a new standard for Rancho Mirage with this bakery. My wife and I have frequented their restaurant Cello’s in Cathedral City many times. We’ve never been disappointed eating there. So when I heard they were opening a bakery in Rancho Mirage, I figured I’ll never have to cook at home again.
I stopped by last Wednesday and picked up a pre-​made roast beef sandwich on panini bread with a creamy horseradish sauce and a Caesar salad. Great quick lunch for a busy person like myself.
Today I stopped in for breakfast burritos for my crew. I called a few minutes before I arrived, and placed the order for 6 of their soon to be famous breakfast burritos. They are made with scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, onions, red and green peppers wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla with a side of salsa. I’ll have to say it’s the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in years. Way to go Bonnie and Tom. Keep up the great work.
