The Children’s Place

This is my number one spot when it comes to buying clothes for my son. They always have really cool styles for kids, their prices are reasonable and the clothes hold up till the next growth spurt! I would say their style and prices are comparable to target and old navy.

Ok so the clothes are cute… but the customer service… not so cute. I took some items back that my son received at Christmas that were too big. I had original reciepts in hand. I was informed by the cashier that after 45 days they could only give me back what the current sales price was for the item. Yes you read that correctly, even though I had the original reciept, the items were never worn and the tags were still on them, I could only get the slaes price. Which meant that arglye sweater that I paid $ 20 for just 48 days ago was now $ 2. I’d rather donate it to Good Will then to give it back to a company who sees fit to stealing $ 18 from their customers. I will not be shopping here again. Though their things are fashionable and reasonably priced so are Old Navy, Gymboree, Gap, Nordstrom Rack, Crazy 8, Pumpkin Patch… TCP you are not the only cute kids clothing store in town!!! Start treating your customers a bit better because BTW, I mentioned these antics on Facebook too and a whole lots of my friends commented back with similar stories of your poor customer service!
