TGI Friday’s

Today I had dinner there with my husband and son. First, they didn’t want to give us a high chair, then they brought out the wrong wine order, finally once I got my food there was a label in the veggies. Manager came out and said she would give us a free appetizer next time. Apparently, didn’t communicate this to the waitress, who said, «oh just let the server next time know you spoke to Patricia and they should give it to you.» Ha! I’d like to use that excuse every time I dine there and see if I get a free appetizer. We just laughed and left no tip, was not above and beyond service, wouldn’t go back.

THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE EVENING? KELSEY’S 5 STAR SERVICE!
We showed up around 5pm Saturday, 02÷20÷16, it was my little girls birthday. The wait was about 30 minutes. It was kool how we were able to do a little shopping at Macy’s & they sent me a text when the table was ready. This Friday’s is very kid and family friendly & we were one of many.
Our server «Kelsey» was everything you could ask for in a waitress. We took forever to order, she was patient. We were indecisive, she was informed & accommodating. We were needy, she was resilient. I could go on & on!
The food was alright.
We thought it was ok but nothing to write home about.
And yes the reviews about the wait time are dead on. Seemed like forever!
From a cost perspective it was average. On the one hand the kids meals were priced very well ($ 5) & the Jack Daniels Flat Iron ($ 17.50) was fair but on the other hand $ 11 for a Quesadilla and $ 13 for a Cheeseburger & fries was definitely excessive.
However we had a coupon for a free kids meal and they honored it, no problem.
They also gave my little girl a free dessert AND Kelsey gathered up a few servers and they sang Happy Birthday!
It was a good time & a great vibe. A gentleman from the neighboring table even gave my little girl $ 5 as a gift!
It was clear that there was an overall good feeling in this establishment and that’s what I’m looking for when I’m out with my family.

We came on a Saturday during happy hour. It doesn’t get any harder than this. I have to give kudos to our server Sarah, she did a great job. Drinks were served in under 4 minutes and food was served in less than 12 minutes. The ideal serve time during happy hour is under 6 minutes for drinks and 16 minutes for food. Outstanding! She did a great job checking on us and didn’t make me feel like an idiot for spilling my first drink. Appetizers were tasting and the main course was was very good. Atmosphere was festive and the drinks were not watered down for happy hour. Good work TGI !

The bathroom had been neglected and it wasn’t even busy. The food was pretty good, but the portion of fries I got was laughable. My boyfriend ordered a bacon cheeseburger which he received a plain cheeseburger. No biggie, but After telling us they would take the bacon off he bill, it was on it. For the price, I would go elsewhere. We left still hungry.

My visit here about a month ago included a dead fly in my salad… Today’s visit was annoying, won’t be going back. I asked twice when I first was seated for chips & salsa, asked two more times during the following 30 min. Our meals showed up, still no chips and salsa. If you can’t remember to bring an item after being asked for it 4x and having to hear from another worker that they are still waiting on the item then you should do your self a favor & quit your job as a server. I guess it irritates me even more because I am in the service industry and am ocd about giving good service. And the lobster tasted like fishy plastic, def not worth $ 26.

They always have great food! I usually go for the endless appetizers and a drink! Super good! It’s good for families or even friend time! This is usually my go to place when I’m with friends on Saturdays. The service can be slow at times but it’s totally understandable because there’s so many people there on a weekend night! Still give it 4 stars because it’s great!

good place. staff is always nice. not sure why the past couple of times drinks have taken forever. and we got our waters after we got our food. no other complaints besides that.

The service here is really really terrible. It will take you at least 20 – 30 minutes to get a drink. Appetizers are tasty and cheap.

This is the worse food! The french fries were chips, the burgers were hard, old and cold! The Potato Skins need to be removed because they taste frozen and nasty with the cheese that is used! Things were better, but this was the worse food I have ever had from Friday’s! I must say, the customer service was wonderful so I would come back if the same cook wasn’t on!

Menus so sticky they have stuck to themselves and have to be pried open, torn open. Gross. I wanted to leave. Hard to eat here, but we were with guests, so we soldiered on. I had a super salty fried shrimp plate, came with extra crispy cold fries.
It’s one of the only restaurants open after 10:00pm, so I pardon how jam packed and crowded it is. People clumsily standing in a tiny lobby to be seated, I respect good business and they are filling a need. With dirt…
PLEASE HIRE SOMEONE TO CLEAN UP. Dirty dishes, dirty forks, filthy ketchup bottles with dried up ketchup gunk clogging the bottle hole, gritty salt n pepper shakers with black things in the salt, is it pepper? Probably not. Very sticky glasses and floors, the sugar packets box, caked with, what? They are individually wrapped, why is the little box so sticky? All of the menus and table tents need to be burned!
The peach iced tea was cool and refreshing had to ignore that the first glass was cloudy, the second glass of tea, clear, (gulp).
Our hardworking, nice as possible waiter handled his business quickly and efficiently, we tipped him well, not his fault, they are using «busy» as an excuse to be unapologetically grimy.
If you’ve had your shots and don’t mind a snot covered dining experience, by all means enjoy this booger fest.

Wow what a huge disappointment this place has become. We used to come here since they opened in 2005. We stopped going to TGIF cuz whenever we watch football it always seems like the cowboy bartender always has to plug in his phone and play that horrible country western music. That’s why Toby Keith’s went out of business! The majority here in Rancho does not want another wanna be county bar. Also FYI corporate office needs to get the music they now have and trash it! We now go to Buffalo Wild Wings and I happily pay my $ 100 tab and generously tip my server.

5 stars because our server Selena was amazing!!! She’s so funny and attentive she makes me feel welcome and I enjoyed my meal with my boyfriend. I noticed she had a lot of parties to attend to and she still had the same up beat energy towards all her guests! She’s a keeper! Definitely worth requesting since she knows what good quality customer service is!:)

This place is a frequent «getaway» spot for the bff & I. What’s better than retail therapy and a local place to sit down and grab a bite to eat. Good food, great prices!

Excellent service and she made us feel right at home.
Our food took a little bit long, but it was not her fault, and it’s ok I was in great company.
Mary made sure to get us our food ASAP and she even went ahead and comped our drinks.
she is the face of excellent customer service! You can tell because she was even asking regulars how their lives were going, you never really meet people like that anymore.

I was very surprised that the food was good, it came out in a descent amount of time and it was hot. I would definitely recommend this location for good food and drinks to enjoy with family and friends. The drinks especially you will find a large selection of cocktails, I wanted to try them all.

So I brought my wife out for a mid-​week meal. I was really looking forward to one of my favorite burgers – the Jack Daniels Burger. A big juicy beef patty cooked to a nice pink middle.
We enjoyed our drinks and waited a little too long, but finally the moment arrived.
…and was ruined in one bite.
Instead of the big beef patty I was expecting, I found two thin, overcooked, McDonald’s style patties of a processed beef-​like substance.
I sent it back, and ordered the sliders.
The manager approached and explained that they sometimes substitute the patties for the «Stacker» burger to avoid waste. I inferred that the patties were going bad.
It is shocking what they have done to a signature dish. This is an affront to the heritage and name, «Jack Daniels.»
Be warned and alert. Don’t let this happen. Expect premium quality for your premium dollar.

went here around 9:00pm on a Tuesday with 6 people in our party.
wait was 5 minutes.
server was okay nothing really stood out.
we all ordered the $ 10 appetizers.
1. Memphis BBQ boneless wings — yummy!
2. mozzarella sticks — delicious!
3. dumplings — surprisingly good!
4. buffalo boneless wings — good.
5. potato skins — its not good and its almost a whole potato…
6. chicken tostada — more like tostada salad. it had no chicken…
overall its worth doing the $ 10 endless apps if you have a big party.
at least minimum of 4 people.
oh and we had 3 – 5 round of apps. lol

Great service from Chanel. Good food and I had great company.
It was lunch time and I was seated right away. I didn’t know that if you are a Strips members you receive free chips and salsa. I used a few of my strips points and received an entry for free. I loved the fact that if I spend money I can accumulate points to receive food at a later date.
I ordered the Jack Daniels platter, it was delicious and piping hot.

First time at this TGI, but have gone to others in the area. And gotta say this Rancho Cucamonga TGI Friday’s is quite tasty. Like the variety they have for the appetizers and clearly stating the ingredients.
The only reason I’m giving them a 4-​Star rating is because of their waiting time before you go in there to find a seat and while you wait for your food. It becomes somewhat frustrating is you haven’t eaten for a while and you arrive there as your first meal. And this is why I only giving them this rating… FYI; if you want lesser wait times and faster service, the San Bernardino TGI Friday’s is another option.
All other is pretty good; the courteous staff, the food is quite delicious… well, what my wife and I have ordered has been very good. The flat screen TVs are situated for all viewers, making the entertainment for all a plus.
I definitely recommend this place is your patient enough… cheers (salud) and happy eating my Unilocal friends!!!

I’ve been a fan of TGI Friday’s for quite some time, and truly, have not a clue as to why I hadn’t written a review … so VOILA here it is:
The pluses:
+2^nd BEST happy hour in the IE! (All day happy hour on Sundays)
+Amazing margaritas! (only $ 6 during happy hour)
+BEST chicken nachos EVER!!! (discounted for happy hour as well!)
+Conveniently located in Victoria Gardens! (love that place)
+Service is excellent! (I’ve never had a terrible experience)
The minuses:
–Wait times can be crazy (one down-​side of being in Victoria Gardens)
–Sometimes there’s no room at the bar (womp, womp, womp)
Needless to say, it is one my favorite places to enjoy happy hour.
