Mode Plus

Does anyone work here? I stopped in on Monday, was in the store browsing for about 20 minutes and NEVER did the employees come out of the back to check if I needed anything! I heard them back there talking amongst themselves though! Fortunately, there was nothing there I HAD to have.

Worst customer service. Went in to exchange a skirt because it was the wrong size. Asked the younger Asian girl for help. She refused because I didn’t have my receipt. I explained to her I don’t live around here. She said sorry can’t help you unless you know the exact day and time you came in!!! I’m thinking ok the day I know but the time… her response «we have lots of transactions I can’t look it up otherwise» I went on to say that my sister is with me and is buying lots of clothes. She couldn’t have cared less. We ended up leaving with nothing. I will not give them any of my money ever again.

DON’T GO HERE, THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE ARE RUDE AND MISERABLE. Especially the Asian with bleach blond hair!
I was a loyal customer of this place for a few years, not anymore! The owner knows me from my frequent visits. Has even called me to let me know when certain items have come into the store.
THe posted hours of operation clearly said 10am-​10pm. I walked in with a friend at 9;35 and was informed by the owner that the dressing rooms were already closed and the store would be closing promptly. All this was yelled to us from across the store with a rude glare.
I said hello to the owner and she smiled and told me they were closing… at 9;35?
I tried to ignore the rudeness and staring from the owner and employee but couldn’t shop because they were «closed» at 9;35.
Save yourself some trouble and go somewhere else to buy cheap clothes. There are Mode Plus’s all over the place and it’s worth the drive.
They were extremely rude and nasty! DON’T GO TO MODE PLUS, VICTORIA GARDENS!

NEVER AGAIN !!! would i go to this store… yes it has very nice clothes but Gstage sells the same exact clothes and way cheaper too. Also i had the same issue as other people here .I had purchased a maxi skirt and when i took it home and was gonna wear it the strap on the waist got all weird and started twisting .I went to EXCHANGE!!! it cause there store policy sucks, But i was ok with that cause i wanted to just purchase something else .So yes i did make a point to the «manager/​owner and told her i That it wasent fair as a value customer i should b able to exchange it .So she did and i got a leather skirt which i did have to pay a few more dollars but i didnt mind .And when i tried it on it fit perfect and i got my exchange but then when i took it home i noticed there was a few studs missing i could understand it was my fault for not checking it but you would think if it was defected y would they still have it out for sale or i least on sale.

Mode Plus isn’t just for really large women. It is perfect for women that don’t like wearing tight clothing. They offer trendy items that are in fashion for women sizes that you can’t find at regular stores.
The XL in this store is more like a medium in some styles. Every time I come in, I find something to wear. The employees don’t really converse too much, but you really don’t need to ask questions. What you see, is what they have available. On good days you will find the perfect purse and hat to match.
This store also offers jewelry and makeup for last minute emergencies.
You will not be disappointed.

Lord, lord, lord. I absolutely had the worst experience here. I bought a bag at this store, understanding that it was a «final sale.» However, I’m usually not in the practice of sniffing my bags when I buy them, so when I brought it home, I realized that it had this horrendous stench (exactly like sewage) because it was made of plastic — it made the bag totally unusable, because the odor gave me a headache. I have a broken foot, so it took me a couple weeks to take the bag to the store. When I took it back today, the woman working the counter refused to refund my money OR let me exchange it. I kept asking her, «but can’t you smell the bag?» and she could, and repeatedly told me to «let the bag sit outside for a while for the smell.» She was nice enough and did try to assist me, and I knew that she didn’t have much authority over the issue, but the spineless manager/​owner person, who didn’t have the decency to come talk to me, refused to allow me to exchange it. Things like this happen with vegan bags, but I’ve never had anyone who is admittedly selling crappy product refuse to come to a compromise with a customer. I will NEVER EVER shop here again.

Good place to buy fashionable clothes for plus size women looking for stylish clothes. Prices are comparable to trendy, young, hip stores (Forever 21, Charlotte Russe) that are not on the pricey side.
My sister got a couple of dresses for less than $ 50 (a steal!). She was ecstatic that she found something she could wear to a wedding for only $ 25, and another fun dress to wear for the springs days ahead.

My family lives in the Inland Empire area and whenever I go visit them, I make sure to stop by this store. I have a HARD time finding clothes that fit my curvy, plus-​size body, much less trendy and age-​appropriate (I am still young)…Mode Plus always has something for me and at reasonable prices. It looks sort of like a boutique too… it gives you a good feeling when you walk by the store (I get inspired from window shopping there!), and you feel good when you walk in and find clothes your size (for plus sizes, that is…12 and up). The people who work there are very nice as well. It is in a great shopping center too!
