Great place to eat. Huge portions so be ready to take something home for later. Been coming here with my dad, my wife and kids for years. They never disappoint. Leslie is our favorite server.

Finally got around to trying Kick Back Jack’s this weekend. It’s been in my bookmarks for over 3 years! My first impression was that the atmosphere was very welcoming. The restaurant is very spacious. I’ve found that most of those good breakfast spots are crowded, but that wasn’t the case here. You don’t feel like you’re sitting on top of everyone. The food was great. I ordered a breakfast plate with two Louisiana hot links, scrambled eggs, & three pancakes. My hubby ordered the Meat Lovers omellette and upgraded his side of potatoes to the«super home fries» for an extra $ 5. Everything was good, I just wish I’d ordered the omellette instead because it was so delicious! The super home fries were good but I probably wouldn’t order them again. For my drink I ordered their fresh pineapple-strawberry-orange juice, and my goodness it was amazing! I wish they had champagne so I could enjoy it as a mimosa! I’ll definitely be back anytime I’m in Rancho and have time for breakfast. I highly reccommend if you enjoy breakfast.

My experience at kick Back Jack was just okay. If you like Denny’s Breakfast, its similar but bigger portions to indulge in. The Service was whatever…”/ and the quality of food was okay. For $ 81 dollars for a party of 6 was kind of expensive. Hey, if you feel like getting your fat on. This is the place for you.

Really like this place. Always busy but service is great. Good food and lots of it. A great place for a Sunday breakfast or a weekday lunch.

Friendly staff, plenty of delicious choices, large portions, different creamers for your coffee. The homemade chips and salsa for lunch is a must. Too bad they’re closed for dinner.

My husband and I are visiting in California and Google searched great breakfast places. This one came up and I am glad we tried it. The staff is super friendly and the food is so good. The buscuits and gravy are exceptional. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in California!!!

Came here for breakfast/lunch. The restaurant is spacious with ample seating. The hostess seated us quickly and was friendly. The staff was incredibly courteous and I can’t compliment them enough. Our food came out in a timely manner which was in less than 10 minutes of us placing our order. I ordered the turkey sandwich. It was delicious! My mom ordered the vegetarian omelette with a side of pancakes which was enough food to feed an army lol. The portions are large so you can easily order one dish and share it. I have been here a couple of times and will be back again in the future

We went here for a late breakfast today. The hostess handed the person before us a menu and told him to sit wherever he wanted. I thought that was weird. When it was our turn, she did not acknowledge us at all. I said, «Hi!» And still no response. After a few seconds, she asked how many was in our party and led us to a table. I think she realized she was rude previously because she greeted us with«Good morning» as we were sitting down. Our waitress came and hurriedly took our drink orders. There were 3 kids in our group but she only returned with 2 drinks. She was gone for about 10 minutes before returning so we could ask for another drink. She took our order and seemed to be in such a rush. This is a Wednesday mid-morning. There were customers there, but it wasn’t so busy. Not busy enough to constantly rush us and forget to be friendly. About the food. It was great. We had a meat lovers omelette and a carnitas omelette. Hot, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The kids had flapjacks. They we huge, fluffy, and thick. Delicious. The syrup was thin and runny, but very sweet. The portions there are huge. I give the customer service 2 stars and the food 5 stars. I would return for the food, but the customer service really needs to improve.

Please save your money and eat somewhere else. Usually if my boyfriend and I crave breakfast we go to Corkys but we decided to give this place a try. BADDECISION. Our bill is $ 15 more than it usually is, the pancakes were so plain I refused to pay $ 12 for that and tiny sausage links and a sad pile of eggs. My boyfriends huevos rancheros with carnitas was good, one star, but everything else was basic. Service: we had like 5 different servers so that was confusing but I guess the main one at the end was ours. She had a real attitude at first and I didn’t appreciate that or feel welcomed here at all. I guess don’t come after 2pm on a Saturday cause they just want to clean and get us out. We finally got the bill and my boyfriend and I were disappointed. Mediocre food, WAY overpriced, and bad service. No thanks I’d rather eat at Corkys or even DENNYS. At least my pancakes taste decent and are worth what I’m paying.

Everything about Kick Back Jacks screams excessiveness from the menu options, almost too many to choose from, to the enormous portion sizes. They offer so much for a reasonable price, most meals ran about $ 12. I had the Bahama Mama Skillet which is made with diced chicken apple sausage, grilled onions, fire grilled corn, red peppers, mushrooms and Baja Chipotle sauce, served with home fries topped with 2 eggs any style, Jack and Cheddar cheese and avocado. It was a massive meal! The chipotle sauce was amazing, tangy with a bit of spice but super creamy. They also gave a sizeable portion of diced chicken apple sausage, every bite consisted of at least 4 chucks. So… Pros: Ample parking Friendly service Loads of choices Great Price Cons: You can avoid the pancakes. If you get the skillets or omelets you have a choice between Corn Bread, Choice of Toast, Country Biscuit, or Freshly Baked Muffin, Country Potatoes or a Pancake. I would suggest going with the potatoes or the pastries. The blueberry muffins are so moist and warm, it’s a perfect way to start a meal and not so big that it distracts you from the rest of the meal. We tried the pancake and it wasn’t worth the calories. It’s huge and didn’t really taste like anything, wasn’t sweet, didn’t have a hint of buttermilk, just big and doughy.

I don’t know about this place. The food is average, reminds me of a larger more expensive Denny’s. My husband and I usually share a meal because the portions are pretty large. $ 16.99 for some eggs and sausage is a bit pricey. The service is always on point but I don’t think I’ll be going back. I am so impressed with the service and family atmosphere at KBJ’s. We were regulars until recently and I cannot believe how kind the staff is. Sam specifically has stood out in my mind because the last time we came she helped my easily agitated 4 year old by going above and beyond by encouraging her to eat her food after lunch we got a scoop of ice cream with endless Oreo toppings. At breakfast this morning Ms. Sam again saved the day and came to my rescue with a plate of Cheerios and orange slices. She turned my daughters frown upside down! The food is fantastic and the homey environment is so welcoming. A Rancho Cucamonga Classic to say the least! Super kid friendly too with BJ painted throughout!

Breakfast spot for the locals. Service was great as was the food. We got the stuffed pancakes with strawberry and loved it as well as a Santa Fe skillet. Would’ve been good with the skillet and the cornbread but if you’re craving pancakes, stuffed pancakes are the way to go!

I have been here twice and each time I had a great experience. Each aspect, the wait time for a table, the experience with the servers, and the delicious food were exceptional. My girlfriend and I went for breakfast around 10:45 on a Sunday, and as to be expected, they were a little busy. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated, which was a reasonable amount of time. Once seated we were greeted by a very nice and energetic server and I wish I could remember her name to compliment her. I ordered the Hot & Zesty Sausage Patty Scramble which, like the name suggests, comes with Hot & Zesty sausage patty diced and mixed with scrambled eggs, crispy country potatoes, black olives, fresh basil, diced tomatoes and onions, topped with shredded Jack and Cheddar cheese and Spanish sauce. My girlfriend ordered the Breakfast Pan-Jack which was a very large, very thin Pan-Jack served in a skillet topped with 3 eggs scrambled with choice of diced ham, sausage or bacon, Jack and Cheddar cheese, topped with ripe avocado and sour cream garnish. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent! This is a great place for brunch for small or large groups. I would highly recommend anyone to check it out and experience their great service and food.

Huge portions!!! Quick and friendly service! I got the dirty savory French toast. It was topped with a cheese sauce, sour cream, and chili’s which I got on the side… just in case it was too much. It ended up being an awesome combo! Who knew. Gf got the country fried steak and eggs… perfectly fried and so tender… tasty gravy. Glad I came here for brunch!

This location is far better than the one in Claremont. It’s far cleaner than the other location and has a much nicer waiting area. On a crowded Sunday morning the waiting area will run out of coffee and when you tell the hostess about it they don’t bother to come refill it even when it slows down. The food at any Kick Back Jack’s is the same: it’s more about loading your plate with a huge portion than the food tasting more than something you could have made in your own kitchen. They give you a lot of food on your plate, way more than you can probably finish, but you’ll have to put salt and pepper, or hot sauce because it’ll be lacking a lot of flavor. The service isn’t anything spectacular but it was adequate. #90/100

Had breakfast Saturday with my wifey at Kickback Jacks. The food is wonderful, lots of eats, come hungry and you still wont finish your flap jacks… they give you a stack of three monsters… danggggggg what are they thinking, were starving and even then we might blow up if we eat all that. Come on down to Kickback Jacks and enjoy a super size breakfast with your wife, mom, friend and family. you wont be disappointed… trust me

Super yummy! One of the better places to eat for breakfast here. We don’t have many great breakfast diners or places that aren’t a chain. They have big portions, if you’re not a big eater or want to share… I highly encourage it! I love all the skillets. I suggest the smoked bacon one skillet! SOO delicious but soooo giant! My boyfriend are his whole meal and then most of mine cause I could not finish it. It was so large. Service is always good. They have a waiting area where you can have some coffee and hang out until you’re called. The staff has always been very pleasant! Been coming here since it was BC café, and have always loved it!

It’s a typical diner style restaurant. The food was good, portions seriously giant. I got the half Santa Fe skillet with no meat. I could barely dent it and was stuffed. The coffee was not bad at all. Not bitter or watery. One thing that just doesn’t fly well with me is fake butter, the toast was doused in it. Why oh why? The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly.
