Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail

Great place for daily runs

I am an avid networker especially when it comes to community events. When my company started their initiative to promote community events, the first thing that came to mind was the nice Pacific Electric Trail that was slowly being updated day by day. Then with a little bit of research I came across the Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail, and have been participating in monthly meeting since. The Friends is a great group of volunteers passionate about promoting exposure of the trail, and trail enhancement. This was a win-​win situation for me as I used to ride my bike everyday through trails after work for recreation, and the trail enhancement program developed by the Friends helped us get in touch with the City of Fontana to present idea to donate a Gazebo. This Gazebo will eventually come to life at the intersection of Almeria Ave in Fontana. We can’t wait as this will benefit not just the community by providing a sweet rest stop, but to allow our employees to enjoy the trail.
