I absolutely love Brighton and their quality but what i don’t like is the customer service. Ive been here 3 times just in the last 2 weeks and its always the same. The«seasoned» sales associates are pushy, aggressive commission-crazed ladies. They want to say hi and get a sale. Yes, that’s to be expected in any commission environment but they go over the top. They make their way around the store so fast your head will spin as they are trying to claim each sale. The newer friendlier employees who stay with customers to help out just get stepped on. I was asked at the register who helped me, but the ringer said i don’t know who that is she must be new. The girl who helped me, passed by and i again told the ringer her name. Even still she put it under another sales associate… Shady. Yes one employee said hi to me initially in her rounds but the other employee actually stayed with me and helped me chose a gift for my son’s teacher. That to me is who«helped» me. I didn’t notice the ringer didn’t comply until i was already out of the store. It annoyed me, but i did not want to wait in that line again. I shook it off as a fluke. The next week i went in for a gift for my mom. They were out of stock of most everything so i struggled finding what i wanted. One of the employees said hi but she kept leaving to make her rounds so i’d have to keep finding her to ask questions. None of the other ladies even acknowledged me otherwise i wouldn’t have kept searching for her. I finally found something i hoped my mom would love. The wait was long and i heard some of other associates offering to help the ringer but she kept declining even as the line kept getting longer and longer. She spent over 10 min throwing each item in a bag with tissue. That ringer also gave me a hard time and attitude when i requested a red bag instead of purple since it was for christmas. She said they were out, even though i saw a stack on a nearby table. She just didn’t want to walk around the counter. Another employee overheard and brought a red bag to give me and that ringer started whispering in her ear like the other employee did something wrong. I heard that employee trying to defend herself. I was right there, talk about unprofessional. Today, i went back because unfortunately my mom did not like what i chose her. There was one person in front of me and all the ladies were being so sweet to her. I thought, wow thats nice she must be a regular. But as soon as the customer set foot outside the door i heard them badmouth that very same customer. Again right in front of me. Ladies, people can still hear you even if you think u are whispering. I couldn’t believe it! These women are like high school teenagers gossiping/whispering at the sales counter. Its unacceptable and unprofessional. Im sure there are times they need to vent but if it’s a must, come on share in the back room! Its embarassing for mature ladies to act this way. Because of these experiences i don’t think i will ever return. I would just rather buy online, which is too bad since i just live up the street. These women make the whole shopping experience very unpleasant.

Great place to be ignored. Rancho Cucamonga store at Victoria Gardens is not the store for customer service. I was looking for an item that I could not locate in the store. After I chased a salesperson around to get an answer I was given a one sentence curt reply. The product is not carried at that location. There was a bag available with purchase that I was interested in but could not qualify because the purchase could not be made in the store. I wasn’t offered another product. I was just ignored. I inquired at Brighton customer care and I was told that THEMANAGERCOULDHAVEORDEREDTHATPRODUCTFORMETOPICKUPATHESTOREANDQUALIFYFORTHEBAG… So much for customer service.

I’m sorry to say that my experience at Brighton which was supposed to have been a happy experience because my husband and I were shopping for my wedding anniversary gift ended up being very disappointing. Our reps name shown on my receipt was Annemarie. As nice as she sounded, she was aggressive and judgmental regarding my choices and in my personal life which she had no right to do. I thought I would’ve been over it by today, but I’m not. Again that will remain a bad memory because it was a special day for us. I love the jewelry, but I’m seriously thinking of returning my necklace to the store in Rancho Cucamonga and going elsewhere.

The jewelry in itself is beautiful here but what impressed me the most was the customer service. I walked in today to see what I wanted for Mother’s Day and Marylou helped me as soon as I walked in. I asked a lot of questions and she was more than helpful and what she didn’t know she found out for me right away. What impressed me the most was that what I was interested in, she mentioned that if I waited to purchase it tomorrow, I would receive the earrings for free. Who can pass up on offer like that!?! It’s rare when an employee goes above and beyond to get you the best bargain so I will definitely be coming back to this store!
