Breast Care Center of Grove

I have an appointment for Aug 17^th. I’ve been in pain for over a week.
Sunday ⁸⁄₂ I went to Urgent Care and was given an antibiotic and vicodan.
Not feeling satisfied I went to see my OB/​Gyn on ⁸⁄₃. I was given a STAT referral to The Breast Care Center of Grove. I informed the receptionist my Dr’s office was going to call since it was a STAT order. The receptionist then said they DO NOT take STAT orders and I need an APPOINTMENT. FELT VERY ANNOYED & FRUSTRATED!

The front desk was polite. I had an appointment at 12:30 and mind you I was 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I was the 4^th person in the waiting room. A lot off people came in after me but they were ALL called before me. I wasn’t seen until 1:25. What’s the point of an appointment. The lady doing the ultrasound wasn’t very nice and had a little attitude. I had a lump on my breast, she did an ultrasound walked out for less than a minute came back and said dr. Says it’s just fatty tissue and that to come back when I was 40. What the dr. Couldn’t take a second to come in and talk to me and see if I had any questions. I wouldn’t be going back they didn’t make me feel like a person.

I just returned from my appointment with The Breast Care Center of Grove. And I had a pleasant experience:) I had a mammogram and ultrasound done. The receptionists were helpful and nice. Even with some paperwork mishaps with my referring doctor, they called and straightened it out in a matter of minutes. Most importantly the technicians performing my exams were professional and nice. The waiting time between exams was minimal, bout 5 minutes. And my wait time was bout 30 minutes from my appointment time. I would have given them five stars if it weren’t for a little mishap with my appointment time. Oddly, just like another reviewer wrote, my appointment time was for 10:30 am, but when I received a recorded call to confirm my appointment, it stated my time was 11:00am. I arrived at 10:30 am for good measure, better early than late! When I arrived they said it was for 10:30am. I don’t know if this office does that on purpose to ensure that you will arrive 30 minutes early to fill out your paperwork. As the recording stated my appointment time was 11am and to arrive 30 mins early to fill out paperwork. Which isn’t much by the way. Seeing how another reviewer wrote that a simimular mishap happened to her I would recommend that you write your appointment time down when booked and call the office to verify the time the day before, just to make sure you are on time.

Came here with my wife. They wouldn’t let me come in with her and sad only the patient in an extremely rude way. Like I’m some kind of monster for wanting to stand by my wife when she goes through screening and comfort her. In my opinion, that’s a little inhumane. I’m actually sitting in the lobby right now as I type this review up. I even took time off just to be with my wife and support her.

Check in was simple, receptionist was nice, although she had overly exposed tattoos. The ultrasound tech, however, was not friendly. Tried asking questions as she was imaging my abdomen and she replied with utter rudeness. Didn’t want to to make the moment any more awkward so I left it alone. I have to return for another exam so if she is my same tech, I will make sure it doesn’t happen again.

My doctor had reffered me here, I was optimistic and loved that it was right down the street from work. I was able to make an appointment for the following day. Was told to arrive 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment time to fill out paperwork. I stood in line for over 15 minutes, and I was the only one who hadn’t been helped yet when they have 4 receptionists. Every single person I dealt whith was rude. I didn’t end up being able to get anything done, due to an «insurance issue» because I refused to pay out of pocket for soemthing that was covered. They even gave me a hard time about wanting all of my information back that they had taken copies of. Won’t ever come here again. It is worth the 15mile drive to go somewhere much nicer with better staff.

HORRIBLE!!! These people are so unprofessional. My appointment was at 3:15. I was working in the morning till 2pm and the receptionist left me 2 voicemails stating they had cancelations for early appointments. I arrived there on time and when i walked in the 2 ladies working at the desk looked at eachother then looked at me with an attitude. I told them my name and they asked me if i recieved all the messages they left about coming in ealry. I said yes but I couldn’t leave work early. So one of them asked me for my doctors order form. I told her i forgot it but I live 2 blocks away and I can be back in 2 minutes. She said, sorry your going to have to reschedule. Are you kidding me! I waiting for this appointment for 3 weeks and the doctor office was completely empty. Not one person waiting to be seen. It it painfully obvoius that these 2 women were trying to go home early and i was the last appointment. I have friends and family that are in the medical profession and they were absolutely disgusted with the service i was given.
