Bad Ass Coffee

Love this place!!! Amazing selection from its menu. I ordered one of their blended coffee and instantly fell in love. Love the Hawaii theme. I will differently be back for more. Also the staff was kind and helpful since I wasn’t familiar with there menu.

They are awesome and affordable. We always stop by when we are in the area. I believe they are dog friendly, there is a lot of dog hair inside.

I was craving a creamy, chocolatey, cold Coffee beverage and found this place on Unilocal on our way home from a camping trip. The coffee isn’t the best I’ve ever had, but the drink sure hit the spot. It was like a yummy dessert in a cup. I still had a bit of a caffeine headache afterwards though, so I made a pot of delicious Klatch Coffee when I got home. I’d definitely go back if I was in the area with that same craving again, for sure. They seem to have quite a few of what I call «Sugar bomb» drinks, which is a nice option to have in the area.
Service was friendly and informative. The place was clean and not crowded at all on a Sunday afternoon. Prices were reasonable.

Nice little shop. Had a blended monkey mocha which was just sweet enough, blended well but tasted mostly of chocolate so was a little disappointed. Girls at the counter very nice and drink came out super fast. Would be back on a hot day for a well made cold drink but worry that all the flavors may be as bland as this one was.

Ok so I’m on a crazy medical diet of no dairy and no caffeine. I was able to get a delicious soy steamer!!! My husband had the monkey madness and loved it! The banana flavor is perfect and not over powering! The two girls working were sooooo nice! Can’t wait to be back in the area to go again!

Loved the iced blend drinks this place is awesome and pet friendly defiantly would recommend. I ended up buying coffee to take home because it was so delicious and tasted different than most coffee. I came in to do some homework the wifi worked well and the atmosphere was gear for homework, but also seemed good to come and just chill. I loved how there was so many souvenir to purchase.

Great coffee. Cheaper than Dunkin, Starbucks, and Krispy Kreme.
Love me some Kona coffee, and I typically hate coffee.

Staff is great, a little small inside but it’s good. Knowing the wife, she’ll be there several times a week.

I love Bad Ass Coffee. I like coming here in between my class breaks at Chaffey College and studying while I enjoy an ice-​cold latte. The environment is warm and friendly and the service is welcoming.

My husband and I and our little dog, Olive, came here on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm. It was very relaxed and we LOVED that Olive was allowed inside with us. Also enjoyed seeing that they have smoothies and Italian sodas and that their coffee drinks could be made without coffee (for the non coffee drinker) and that they have non dairy options as well. We were quite pleased with our experience and service and will look forward to returning.

This review is after my third try here. In brief, I’ve been searching for a great cup of coffee that’s not brewed by a corporate giant and that’s available prior to 6:00 or 6:30 in the morning. This place has a great rating here on Unilocal,but I’m not so sure that it’s deserved.
Place looks great with the Hawaiian themed décor. Nice to see the news on in the morning on the TV propped up in the corner. Looks like a crowd of regulars sit near this area in the morning.
My two star review is based on the the quality of service and coffee. The service want that friendly in the mornings I’ve been here. My experience when I walk is first receiving a sideways glance from the person at the counter and a morose, «Hi,» followed by a, «What can I get you?» The funny part is that one time I was asked to sign my credit receipt with this tip area pointed out to me. They shouldn’t ask for it; they should earn it.
After this, I leave with coffee in hand. The taste was weak and a bit watery the first day I tried it, but I thought that perhaps they didn’t put in enough coffee grounds prior to brewing. We’re all susceptible to human error, so I wanted to give them another try. After two more times of once trying their dark roast and then trying their extra dark roast, the result is that their coffee is more like tea than coffee. Its just too watery for my palate.
I’ll now move on from here to try to find a great cup of coffee around town that’s not from a corporate giant.

I LOVE THIS PLACE.
So, I saw this place from a check in by Jennifer D. I live so far away, I figured I would never make it there. She said to bookmark it anyway… and sure enough, I MADE IT!
I was sure they werent going to have anything I could order, because I needed something sugar free. WRONG! The picture I posted of the list of drinks, all of the items with an * are sugar free. SO many options.
I went with a sugar free white chocolate mocha, and I had it blended with sugar free whipped cream. For the record, Starbucks looks at me confused if I ask them to blend my Skinny Vanilla Latte. Like Im speaking a non existent language. So I about screamed with glee when I got to pick blended! AND sugar free whipped cream? I just… yeah. HEAVEN!
This place is also, SO cool. I saw a t-​shirt I wanted that said «I love my bad ass attitude» but they didnt have that actual shirt. I found another one, on sale for $ 10 that said that on the back, but it was a size medium. I got it anyway. It fits! I also got a second shirt, that was a size medium that is snug, but it will fit eventually. The only downside was the availability on the shirts, and the larger sizes. I would have preferred a size large. The womens shirt I liked, the large looked like a small, so I passed on that. Anyway, thats the only complaint I had.
After doing an errand in another part of the center, we went back in to use the restroom. It was funny because my friend said she heard the toilet flush, heard me wash my hands then it was a while before I came out. I was taking selfies with the bathroom wall art, LOL
This place was awesome, so much fun and I want to drive the hour back just to go again already!!! A place with that many sugar free options makes me soooo happy! And it was SO good, you couldnt even tell it wasnt full of sugar!
Bad Ass Coffee = BAD ASS!

I love their Kona coffee. It’s something in it that makes it so delicious and makes me want to keep coming back.
I ALWAYS check in to get the Unilocal discount and will continue to use it as long as it is still up.
My go to is the Caramel Kreme de Kona. YUM!!! Depending on who makes it (usually the girls) it tastes magnificent and heavenly. Reasonably priced (The discount makes it even more of a great price!)
Depending if I go here in the morning before my internship, I’ll grab a toasted bagel with my coffee. So good! Come here if you’re ever in the area, a little hidden gem in Rancho! :)

I’ve actually been coming here for a while as I meet a friend of mine semi regularly for a morning cup of coffee. This place is too quality. The staff and owner (who also works as a barrista) are very friendly and accommodating, especially if your not a coffee snob (which I am definitely not). The coffee is great. They have a great selection of not only coffee but also hot and cold drinks, pastries and breakfast sandwiches. If your in the area and are looking for coffee or a treat make sure you stop by. You wont be disappointed!
Note: I live about 20 miles away and gladly make the trek for this place. Well worth it.

Happy with my drink! They have awesome flavored, like unique with dark chocolate, caramel, etc. my new favorite place! The girl that helped me was super nice. Definitely gonna be coming back to study soon :) cute little place.

Weird I thought I reviewed this already. Anyways…
Each time I swing by I get a large ice blended with any of the chocolate creations they offer. Last couple times I’ve been getting the Nutty Irishman, the Lava Java Mocha, and the Grasshopper.

I ordered an espresso drink tonight about 10 – 15 minutes before closing. The young man making the coffee had it made in less than a minute. When I started drinking the coffee, it tasted like water. As I kept drinking it, slowly it gained more taste. At the end of the coffee I opened the lid and saw about an inch of ingredients at the bottom of the cup. Apparently when the barista made the coffee he did not mix the drink.
It was pretty disappointing. The only saving grace was that the person who took my order was very nice and helpful.

I enjoy getting a coffee here while I’m in the shopping center. They are a better deal than other coffee places. I also like the name. It’s cute and funny. Good service, nice atmosphere, and neighborhood. Very clean and friendly. It’s a good place to come alone or with friends.
By the way, their frozen drinks are totally addictive. I love the mocha iced coffee. It is so creamy and wonderful. Just tried the camel toffee frozen late with whip cream on top, yes i am being bad, and it was oh so good. Don’t forget to check into Unilocal to claim your discount! 1÷16÷16

This place definitely defends what it advertises «BAD ASS COFFEE.» I love me some 100% Kona coffee. Last time I had anything good Kona was in the California hotel in downtown Las Vegas next to the restaurant Aloha Special.
The staff and drinks were totally «BAD ASS.» The staff was friendly, and helpful. When I got my drink they saw me struggling to mix the whipped cream in. lol So they offered to mix it in for me. The drinks are strong, but I love stronger coffee so that was a plus for me. Had me instantly wired, definitely will be coming back here to try more drinks whenever I’m in the area. I think they use some sort off coffee type ice cubes because when they melted it did not taste watered down or anything.
They close a little earlier so don’t expect to study here late. The seating space is standard, comparable to a Starbucks. I prefer bigger tables because when I study I like to spread out, so if you’re like that too I wouldn’t suggest studying here. But, other than that I’d definitely swing by and pick me up something new off the menu each time I come.
The staff said this is their only location in California but they were making one in San Diego.

It’s bold to call your coffee «badass» before anyone walks in the door and it was pretty accurate: The coffee here is potent. I drank half of a small grasshopper latte and I got the shakes lol. So that’s my review: this coffee is
s t r o n g! The place is decorated like the luau section at Party City and they sell wayyyy more than coffee here. Everything from snacks to apparel to sunscreen, Reminiscent of the ABC store in Hawaii. The coffee tasted a little weird but if you need something to wake you up in the morning then that’s negligible. It’s a popular place, lots of families. Large menu and good music. Very laid back place. they should probably move into a large place and have a full on convenience store. Coffee isn’t more or less expensive than Starbucks. I recommend this place to support local business.

Forget what I said about my favorite cup of coffee.
If you aren’t counting calories, do yourself a favor and order a blended Snickerlicious. Holy. Moly.
I had a sip of my +1’s and wanted so much to finish it. So… I practically did. Yum.
