This is a great local bar that I would travel a great distance to go to. I love the crowd. They treat you like family. Karon(the bartender) is a special ray of light. She is always so happy to see me. Karaōke is great. So many great singers show up there. The staff is friendly and caring. The clientele are welcoming. Huge parking lot so you know you will always find a place to park. It’s a safe environment. I’ve never seen a fight or any one getting out of control. Just a safe, fun, friendly and enjoyable experience.

Why the hell was this place popping on a Friday mid-morning? Because Rancho Cordova is the place to be for alcoholics and né’er-do-wells. That’s why. I’m going to go so far as to name this place the premier dive bar in the area. You got a problem, their low priced alcohol will solve it. I’m super pleased with the kind service behind the bar and the super quiet, stick to themselves patrons. They have all the dive bar sports: pool, darts and karaōke. Bring your own snacks.

The couple times I have been here I have had a amazing experience. I love the people they are chill and great and the lady at the bar is pretty nice. I do like when they do the karaōke and there are a lot of people with talent there. This would be a place I would go to when I feel like having an awesome time.

Drinks overprIced for a place with taps out and seating that belongs in a aa meeting. This is definitely a dive bar with bar flies with premium alcohol prices.

The bartenders are the rudest and laziest I’ve ever encountered! OMG! Went first time on a Friday, YUCK! Barely anyone there all night, bartenders attitude was as stinky as her cigarette breath when she was actually behind the bar instead of smoking. The karaōke singers were all old n off key, the few people that came in must have been Walmart rejects, and the prices were way too high for weak ass drinks! Decided to give it one more chance the following Saturday since I live really close by but, was even more disgusted by attitude, prices, slow service, and lack of remotely attractive crowd. For only having a few people in the place, still took forever to get a drink! Done n don’t recommend wasting time checking it out.

Sharon’s is a dive bar in Rancho Cordova on the corner of Vehicle Drive and Coloma. They have darts, one pool table and karaōke on Friday and Saturday nights at 9 pm. The kj, Joe does a great job and uses the Sound Choice program which is high quality karaōke. They don’t serve food but don’t mind if you bring some in. The drinks are cheap and the people are friendly. We had my husband’s birthday party there last year and they set up tables for us to put food and gifts on. The bar has its usual group of regulars but everyone is welcome. I like diversity and Sharon’s has a goid vibe. Black, white, Asian, gay, straight, young, old, physically challenged… it doesn’t matter. As long as you’re looking to have fun with a group of like-minded people, Sharon’s is the place to go. 4 stars for the great karaōke and the cheap drinks.

My husband and I came in last night around 8ish and our bartender was horrible! We were there a half hour each had one drink because she was too busy eating her frozen macaroni and cheese, on the house phone and smoking outside not to mention the movie she was watching on tv in this bar that has a jukebox and tv’s to give the bar an atmosphere. Furthermore when we paid her she didnt ring it in but, she took our money! My husband being a bar owner in carmichael just couldnt believe she actually had a job ! Needless to say we will never be back!

When I think back about my younger years when life was woven around eat, sleep, work and partying, going to a dive bar was never even a consideration. My girlfriend and I went out night clubbing every weekend that included dressing up, dancing o’ plenty, socializing, flirting with the DJ, some drinking, and most importantly… finding Mr. Right! Ha! Ha! Ha! Goes to show you how cluelessly naïve we were back then. Even though it doesn’t seem that long ago for us, it has! Now, life is coming full circle whether one likes it or not. After several years of losing touch with my friend and recently reuniting, I invited her out for dinner and whatever else we could think of doing afterwards for her birthday. Going out to a night club at our age was out of the question. We decided to visit a dive bar that happened to be in the area of where my friend lived. I looked up bars on Unilocal and disappointingly found only a few nearby bars available. We tried out Louie’s last time which was OK, but wanted to test the waters further. Since Sharon’s Lounge had some pretty good ratings on average, we agreed to a new adventure in elderly entertainment. This place is far from being old folk’s material, but I couldn’t help but notice a lot of people our age and older enjoying themselves. I guess we fit in perfectly… It was Karaōke night and that meant a lot of the locals were there drinking, singing and just having a good time. The dimly lit lounge is small and I could tell that the interior planning was not very feng shui. There was no place for us to sit near the bar, so we ended up in a much bigger and brighter room where one pool table is located. A wall divides the lounge and the pool table area. We could barely see the entertainment except for a TV that was placed to show some of the Karaōke singers. Some were good and some not so good. But customers were enjoying every minute of it. The people were friendly and would either smile at us or stop at our table to say hi. It seems that many are frequent patrons and have been coming here for years. While I couldn’t drink because I was driving, my girlfriend said her cocktail was very good and reasonably priced. Well, that’s about all I can relay about this bar. I didn’t have the best time, but it wasn’t bad either. If we decide to come here again, it might be better to arrive early for better seating and the possibility of some interest grabbing entertainment. Just don’t expect to find Mr. or Miss Right here!

My sister and I went here last night after a Unilocal party. It’s close to her house and we wanted to karaōke so we came here. Everyone is very friendly. It’s a nice little dive bar with a pool table and karaōke. Well we had a bit too much to drink and one of the bartenders was nice enough to find us a ride to my sisters house. They look out for their patrons and I really like that in a bar. I wasn’t planning on drinking that much but I did, my bad, the drinks are definitely not weak. One of the other patrons was nice enough to drive us to my sisters and she even went back to the bar because my sister forgot her purse. Come to find out she left it on my passenger seat so they had to come back and get the keys from me. I wish I could remember her name. She was so sweet and drove back to the bar to get my sisters purse out of my car and come back to my sisters for a 3rd time to drop it off. Hopefully I will see her again, so I can properly thank her. I’m glad we went last night. I’m sure we will go again but we will bring a DD with us next time. Yay fro awesome dive bars :)

Came here the other night to give it a try over going to Applebee’s yet again. Walked in and was in shock it’s a small little place with not many people. We ordered our drinks not to badly priced and headed to the pool table. Talking and chatting and this lovely lady Karen the bartender heads over and gives up a free watermelon freeze sampler that she was trying to make. My cup if tea not so much for the others I was with but they enjoyed it. We got to talking found out the true meaning if you can’t judge a book by its cover. Sharon’s lounge we will be back and this time we will bring friends!

What a fun place to be. We went there last night, a group of about 30, and Sharon and staff made all of us «newbies» feel like regulars. Even the regular patrons, of which there were many, were down to earth and so very friendly. It’s small and comfy with a pool table in the corner. The kareoke folks were patient with us including when we’d set up the guys with songs like«Afternoon Delight», «Muskrat Love», and«I am Woman» to which they all refused to sing… sigh. There was another birthday party going on as well and the bar had set up a very nice spread in which they also allowed our group to share. We’ll be going back there very soon for another good time. I almost hate to give it such a good review because I don’t want the place to change or get so crowded that we can’t get in but the staff did such an excellent job taking care of us they totally deserve more good words. One final note, it’s a total dive and I felt safe the entire time I was there.

Ok, the place is 3 stars in the«big world» but it’s a 4-star dive bar. Drinks are stiff and cheap, ladies behind the bar are always friendly and smiling, the kareoke is. well…kareoke. But at least some of the talent there is good which makes the bad ones pass by quicker. :) I haven’t got much room to talk, I never stand up and sing. My girlfriend turned me on to this place, not sure how she knew about it, but I don’t judge her. :) Tons of friendly folks, a pool table and darts, and the drinks don’t break the wallet.

Great Karaōke!!! Always has a unique group of people who love to have a blast singing their hearts out. The day crowd is nice and quite. A good local bar that gets a good crowd on the weekends. Drink prices are good for what you get. They also have Keno if you feel lucky.

This place is my home away from home. The bar is great, the crowd is always different with regulars in the mix. Karaōke is top notch and the KJ’s are wonderful. If you want a diverse crowd, drinks, and entertainment… this is the place to be.

It feels a bit odd giving a dive bar five stars, but for a dive bar, this place is fantastic fun! As others have mentioned, karaōke nights are the best, even if you aren’t brave enough to sing. The barstools are comfortable, and the drinks won’t break your budget. It’s the kind of joint where you just come as you are, no need to dress up, and you’ll fit right in. What more can you ask for from a dive bar? Oh yeah, and the bartender gal with her crazy hats is pretty awesome too.

Over the last year, I became a regular. Yep, Cort’s crazy antics, Margie’s talented voice, and the cast of regular characters that populate this establishment won me over. I have really enjoyed getting to know the regulars; they are what form the unique character of this bar, and they keep me coming back. Even though I live across the country, when I walk in the door, I am greeted like I was just there last weekend. It is a mixing pot where you will hear everything from broadway tunes to country to alternative, oldies, disco, soul, and rap on karaōke nights. You owe it to yourself to check it out and keep it on your list of places to go when you want to cut loose or just hang out with some cool cats.

This place is awful. None of the staff ARE friendly. They have karaōke there every weekend and that’s even awful. They only play country music and no top 40 hits. This place is filled with older people. If you are over 40 and love country music this place is for you. If you love new school music and under 40 this not a place for you.

Went here for the first time last weekend. I’m no singer but my wife and her friends love singing. They had a fantastic time. The people there were very friendly and would join in on the singing and didn’t mind if others joined in with them. Like the other reviews say, the drink prices are fair and were pretty good.

Great neighborhood bar. The karaōke is second to none in Sacramento. The KJ’s are incredible entertainers. The drinks are priced right, the crowd is fun and everyone has fun!!!
