Sacramento’s Best Taco Catering

I used Sacramento’s Best Taco Catering for my annual Christmas party this past year. I ordered the standard menu but decided on the «food only» option and I picked up the order myself to stay on a budget. The food was SO GOOD! Pork, Beef and Chicken deliciously grilled without anything spicy in it but super flavorful. The order also came with onions and cilantro, beans and rice plus warm corn tortillas and tortilla chips. It came with 2 kinds of salsa and the only complaint I have is that both were super spicy. Actually, the green salsa was tasty and super spicy but the red salsa was basically your mouth on fire hot. I just threw a bowl of pico de gallo out on the table for those who didn’t like spice and problem solved.
The food was meant to feed 60 people and there were a ton of leftovers so I sent people happily home with taco fixins.
I’d really love to use Sacramento’s Best again some day for an event and have the full set up with taco bar and staff. Carlos answered all my emails with my many questions and was very pleasant and helpful. There was even a mistake with a check I had mailed being deposited by his wife but he hadn’t realized and my husbands card was still charged at pick up and before I even found out about it, Carlos had the charges reversed and it was like it never happened.

We hired SBTC to cater my brother’s 50^th birthday party. He’s kind of a street taco aficionado, and was most impressed by what these guys served up. Great flavor, great sides, and great salsa’s! Came early and set up. Served em with smiles on their faces. Broke everything down. And even gave us the leftovers. I’d definitely use these guys again!

We used Sac’s Best Taco Catering for our Denmar Flooring grand opening event last week and they were awesome! They showed up on time and the smell wafting through the party while they cooked was hunger inducing! Everyone started to wander up to the food station to get in line for tacos. Rave reviews from all of my guests. I’d use them again in a heart beat!

Carlos & his team were amazing! We hired SBTC for a corporate event and had a tight timeline to stick to for lunch service. Carlos and his team worked quickly to serve/​feed 130+ people with enough time for people to come back for seconds! Carlos kept in constant communication with me as we prepped for one of the biggest events of our department. I was very happy with the quality & taste of the food along with the different varieties of condiments/​salsa to accompany the tacos. We would definitely hire this Carlos & team for future events!

SBTC was excellent for our baby’s 1^st Birthday Party! We had a party in Land Park and thought since we got the most basic package that we would not have sternos available to keep the food warm. We thus purchased them ourselves. However, when my husband went to the park to meet them, they did have the sternos and I heard the guy was so nice and said that they have got us covered for all that. Awesome! Everyone enjoyed the food and even a kid from the party across the way kept trying to come to our party instead! Haa ha. They were super busy that day but the great customer service was not lacking and food was great. I highly recommend them for your big parties!

I met Carlos at a friends wedding and loved the food– it was really really delicious and also loved the freshness and sizzle they give in making it right in front of you. So I decided to have him cater my husband Retirement Party. This is going to be so fun for the guests to enjoy a fresh hot, made to order, meal vs. pre made food in a warmer… and the price is very reasonable.

We used SBTC this past Friday night for our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. Their name says it all – great good, great service and personable owner who is prompt and professional. Carlos, his wife Trini and their daughter became a part of our families party – I actually hugged him when they left.
If you are looking for a caterer, look no further. You get great food, service and value and won’t be disappointed. The groomsmen actually kept eating all night on the leftovers and we had some for several meals while company was still here. Absolutely amazing! We will definitely use them again.

As an executive assistant by day, it can get pretty hectic and my personal plans can get pushed to the side. Carlos saved the day for me when I had forgotten to plan my own annual party menu! He was accommodating for short notice and such a great guy to work with and the food is so fresh! Great communicator, follows up on emails and phone calls in a timely manner. I ordered it buffet style and he provided the stands and stenos to keep the food warm. Would I use this company again? Absolutely, hands down!

Had SBTC out for a house warming party and they were great! From the beginning Carlos was prompt and courteous answering my questions, sending a quote, and ultimately sending the contract. Day of the party the two staff members that catered were so nice and worked hard! They cooked, set up a table for the food (rice, beans, salsa bar, chips) and my guests had a great time loading up on tacos and sides. The tacos were a hit with my guests and they even packed up the left overs for me to keep (which was great to eat after my hosting duties ended). I would definitely recommend SBTC!

These tacos were indeed Sacramento’s best! The flavors were very authentic to what my family serves in Mexico. I had the buffet service setup and it was very organized. I definitely recommend their services. Also the pineapple and Strawberry aguas frescas were a must have! Don’t order without them. There is absolutely nothing bad that can be said about these guys with SBTC.
The name says it all. «Best» tacos in town. Carlos and his crew recently catered a dear friend of mines wedding reception.
The menu is well planned, thoughtful and served buffet style. The meats (chicken, pork, beef) are seasoned well and no spicy heat is added to them (especially nice when you have twin 6 year old daughters who dont like spicy food… yet). The produce was very fresh and the salsas were to die for.
I haven’t had tacos this good since I was actually in Mexico. Authentic flavors, great service and full stomachs are what you’re going to get when you bring SBTC to your event.

We just recently used SBTC for my 40^th Birthday Party and they were absolutely amazing. We had about 70 people at our house for the party and every person I talked to couldn’t believe how good the tacos were! We went solely off the reviews that others gave on Unilocal and the positive reviews are spot on! Carlos and his wife were amazing. They allowed us to add an extra 20 people to the catering with a short notice. They showed up on time and were serving food immediately! I was actually a little sad that I only had 5 tacos because I was entertaining my guests! We will definitely use SBTC in the future and we give the highest recommendation for their catering service! This is the first part of the review I am leaving for this company. I will leave the second review after my wedding to give an update!
I am getting married this August and had SUCH a hard time finding a caterer with quality food and was affordable. Other options were around 5k, which I thought was insane. When I found SBTC, I was very excited. I emailed them and asked to set up a tasting. Carlos was very quick with his response and scheduled a time for a tasting. He had us at his house and his lovely wife cooked us the food on their catering menu. When we walked into their backyard to go eat, just the smell sold me on them. It was amazing. The food was even better and we got 2 plates to go we liked it so much!
Amazing food for an amazing price.

Had their tacos at Shadow Ranch Vineyard this past weekend during Passport and have to say they are the best tacos I’ve ever had. Carlos and the team were incredibly nice and the food was great. It’s the first time I’ve worked a Passport event where every single participant that commented on the food said it was incredible and/​or the best they had all weekend. Plus, the tacos paired great with the wine!

I’ve used SBTC 3 times now for office catering and every time the food has turned out AMAZING. Carlos is so easy to work with. You get SO MUCH FOOD for the cost. And the food is absolutely delicious.
Ditch the boring sandwiches — get some tacos.

SBTC catered a work lunch for us last week and it was the awesome! Carlos was a very cool guy. He brought such a nice variety of everything. The homemade salsas were delicious and authentic. I experienced the awesomeness of SBTC at a friend’s reception a couple of months back, and was very impressed. So naturally, when my bestie was looking for a caterer for her outdoor wedding, and mentioned wanting Mexican food, I knew we had to use them!
Carlos and crew are absolutely amazing. They worked with us and our budget, to help us get the most bang for our buck. We had a lot of dietary restrictions in the group, from gluten-​free needs, to vegetarian, to vegan, and SBTC’s food works for everyone! (we opted for the veggie option for some of the tacos)
We’ve heard nothing but rave reviews from the guests, and the bride couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much for helping to make the wedding wonderful! Sacramento’s Best Taco Catering definitely lives up to their name!
