Great Barber. Nick is an old fashion traditional barber that provides a time and tested service to those of us who enjoy haircuts by real barbers. He charges $ 18 and delivers on the haircut while sharing pleasant and positive conversation. His shop is conviently located off Mather in Rancho Cordova. Thanks Nick. See you in two weeks.

I know this good man on a personal level. He’s down to earth and does a great job. He gave my son his first haircut and looked like an OG. I come here when I can because it is out of my way but I find that for a good hair cut, most people will travel for it. I would recommend this place.

Nick is the best straight line cutting barber there is. Ive been going just to him for 12 years. I live in El Dorado Hills and drive all the way to Rancho to see him which is about 30 mins. His original shop was in Folsom and we followed him when he moved closer to where he lives.
Its a barber shop. Its not a beauty salon. Nothing fancy. Its a guys place. We tell stories. We joke around. We laugh alot. And everybody knows whats going on in each others lives.
Nick is a master at cutting hair. No nonsense. Clean, crisp lines. You feel like a million bucks when you leave. Great for adults and kids. Very affordable too. Only $ 16. Bring cash.

We noticed Nick’s shop on the way out of Mather Field one day a couple weeks ago. Today, I decided I’d check it out. I’m glad I did. I’d been growing weary of the «McBarber Shops» lately and wanted something fresh yet old school. I asked for a high fade and got what I wanted. The price is right, and he gives a deal to vets. Nick is also a really nice guy and will get to know you while he cuts your hair. Long story short, I’ve finally found my barber shop. I’ll definitely be returning for my next cut.

Needed a haircut bad while up at Mather for some training and saw Nick’s as I left the airfield. It may not be a classy looking place, it’s basic. I mean, what more do you need for a haircut besides a chair and some clippers? Nicks son Joseph took care of me and did a good job. A quality cut. Like Nick said, he’d rather take his time and do it right than give someone a 5min cut. The only downfall is he needs a credit card reader/​machine. I think he’s working on it. I felt bad dropping a $ 100 bill on him, cleaned him out! But luckily he was closing up for the day. Would definitely come back if I need a cut while on training.

Nick gives you an average haircut, but there is so much drama involved. His attention appears elsewhere with cable news updates, cell phone ringing, and children asking questions. Many times a phone call requesting an appointment went unanswered. I would recommend only if a blind fold and ear plugs were standard issue.
