OK, let’s give them one more chance and I’ll just make certain what happened last time does not repeat. Ordered 2NBE-M5−300’s on a Tuesday and would pick up on Friday will call. Called Thursday to verify they were actually there and they confirmed yes… great! Arrived Friday AM and picked them up, a prompt and painless 3 minute transaction and it’s off across the Sierra’s to install. Saturday in Carson City I configure the first device in about 5 minutes, no issues. Open the next box and I immediately note it’s packed differently than the first. The reflector is shrink-wrapped when the other one was not and the feedhorn was not fully seated. Looking closer I see a mark on the feedhorn release button that looks like it came from a screwdriver or other tool to release it. I’m now suspecting it might be a return repackaged(don’t know for sure) but I was never able to establish communication with it. Hard reset the device numerous times and there is just no response back. Came home and decided to RMA it directly with Ubiquity Networks vs going back to Cyberguys. I just have not had good luck with Cyberguys and I can’t risk any more of my time with them as they are 100 miles out of my way.

Great prices, small local business, and electronic gadgets here and there. They do not carry everything though, which was a bummer because we were looking for an outlet which they did not have. Also, I mentioned that I had never heard of them and the guy working there was soooooo unhappy about life. He said in an annoyed and monotone voice, «Yeah the owners don’t really care about the store»… Kind of offsetting. If the owners don’t care, why should we?

The worst possible service and attitude. Told them exactly what we wanted, none of the products worked, but couldn’t care less and getting a refund has been a NIGHTMARE. Don’t make the same mistake I made

What a great place!!! You find hard to get computer hardware Items here. It is a must know and shop for any computer or gadget geek like myself. The place is honest and fair. Their return policy is unheard of and they take care of it. I had to return an item and they took care of the exchange without a hitch. The only other place like it costco. The sale people are very knowledgeable and they still amaze me with what they know. What other place could you go where you could find almost anything with a low price and great customer service and return policy. If you have not tried them, you should if they have your part or item. They are mostly a mail order business. I have ordered an item at 2 pm and got it at my house the next morning. Crazy– but I do live in the Sacramento area.

I love this place, it’s always the first place I go to when shopping for computer equipment. Their base store is about 30 minutes from me, but their last Friday of the month sale is so great, they always seem to have what I need for next to nothing. And the nicest people bar none.

Cyberguys always has very clever solution to computer/technoloy problems while maintaining a reasonable price. They have solutions for problems I didnt even know I had, but products like the Liberators and Media Carousel make life so much easier =] One time I was last minute shopping and saw something my friend would like on their site and I got same day shipping and it arrived the next day just as they said it would! They are very reliable and if you have doubts or questions about your order the customer service ranks with the best!

Bought an ergonomic keyboard with them through amazon. Today the keyboard broke down, it has a 2 year manufacturer warranty through the retailer. The person on the phone was quite rude. Also, instead of shipping me a new keyboard and use the same box to ship back the broken one, they want me to ship the broken first. Oh and they’ll take 48 hours to email me a usps tag to print(so I can send it back). 48 hours for an email ?? I think it’s probably going to take at least 2 weeks just to get a replacement, there really is no reason for this process to be so complicated!

When ever I’m in the Rancho Cordova area, I have to hit up CyberGuys store front, also huge mail order catalog of hard to find iPod accessories, audio/video cables, connectors, tools, computer parts, ergonomic accessories and gear. They are the only store in the US to carry the USBBONE thumb flash drives from Japan. If you need HDMI cables, stay away from Best Buys and Fry’s, save yourself some money and get them from CyberGuys.

Great service. Every person I’ve talked to when calling in an order was friendly and professional. Easy return policy. Allows you to pick up from their store if you live in the area(Rancho Cordova). Awesome products.

I always enjoy getting their email updates and their catalog. It’s like looking through the toys section of the old Sears catalog for me. «About Cyberguys Cyberguys is a catalog and online retailer of hard to find and innovative computer accessories, electronics, and workplace accessories. What makes Cyberguys special is our huge inventory, competitive prices, and complete customer satisfaction. The History of Cyberguys In the beginning we were a local California computer store with a good reputation for cool products and cheap prices. Something more began to happen in 1995 after the success of our first full-page ad in a computer magazine. Today our reach has expanded around the globe through our color catalogs and online stores.»
