Really enjoyed the rodeo this year(2014). Friday started at 7:30pm Parking was easy, arrived around 7:10pm. Five dollars to park, but plenty of free options around the grounds if you’re willing to walk. Lots of handicap parking. Performances included bareback riding, team roping, tie down roping, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing, and bull riding. The funniest and cutest event was the Mutton Bustin event. 5 – 8 year olds holding on to large sheep. Really funny and the kids were having a blast. Normal fair food, indian fry bread, nachos, bbq, grilled corn in the husk, kettle corn, lemonade. Dancing and other activities going on. Vendor booths and things to do. Options to buy premium seating which puts you near the gates where the bull riding and bucking broncs are. We stayed in general seating and had no problem watching the show. No problem leaving, lots of people stayed to hang out and dance. One thing i would recommend to the event planners. This was my first rodeo event. I couldn’t find any information on what I could see or do at the rodeo. It would draw a lot more people if you had this information on your website.(y’know for us first timers). Will definitely go back next year.
