What a wonderful shop!!. Took my car key, which has the trunk and door lock on it that had stopped working in. Reynard was a delight, happily repaired it for me while I waited. They also have a fabulous safe selection and I love the fancy keys you can buy and have rekeyed. Great place, Friendly service.

I could get in some real trouble here. I have a slight shopping problem and a lock smith store is no exception.
on this particular visit I needed to get a new car key cut and switch the chip from my old key to the new one. every place I called told me it could not be done and that I needed. to order a new key and get it programmed, which can cost a pretty penny. Ramona Locksmith understood and told me to come in and they would give it a try. $ 3.50 later I have my new car key.

One thing I must say is that the next time I wander in this store I just might be tempted to buy a giant safe.

I needed a key for a set of file cabinets that I had bought that did not have a key. I called one of those other locksmiths that advertise like they are from Ramona but really are not. They came out and immediately said that they could not do the job. So I realized my mistake and called Ramona Locksmith. He was able to look up the key and I was able to pick it up in the next 10 minutes so that I could avoid a trip charge. It turns out that there are a few options for keys to cut and he cut the wrong one. When I told him that the key didn’t work, he made the key on both other types and dropped them off to me without charging me any extra. I was very satisfied with his service.

I’ve used their services twice recently for projects that were more than just duplicating a common key. The shop has relocated and the new store is open, and professional. On both occasions, their knowledge and skill were what made for a successful outcome. Prices were extremely reasonable and service was warm, courteous and prompt. Saturday hours made things really convenient and my walk-​in rekey project on a set of 4 European locks was quickly solved, even though there were no parts available. Huge inventory of key blanks, including the odd keys for ‘Tuffy’ locks used on off-​road gear. Nobody else had those!

Honestly I’ve used them 2 times out of maybe the 10 that I needed them. They’re never open during business hours. Both of their vans are there so they’re not out on calls. They just open when they feel like it. I hate going down the hill because a Ramona business can’t be open when it’s supposed to be open! I left a message, and they didn’t return my call. Done with them.
