Everyone here is always amazingly friendly and they have good dreams on coffee. Love supporting Laval businesses, and Packards is one of the reasons why

Poor service. No fresh coffee. No sugar. And it wasn’t even busy. I told the clerk that the coffee was empty. She said it would take 6 – 9 minutes. I could not wait so mixed with other coffee. Wanted sugar with my coffee and the container was empty with dried up sugar on the bottom. She did not wash her hands before scooping up the sugar to fill it. And did not clean out the container. Will not be going back.

BEWARE! The older lady with glasses who works there, who I believe is the owner is just so rude and mean spirited. I love supporting local businesses but I will not be supporting this place from now on. I ordered a white Alaskan and she gave me a regular Alaskan and was mad when i told her she made me the wrong one, she tried to argue with me about it and almost refused to remake my order. She yanked the drink out of my hand and made me the white Alaskan. Lots of attitude and not friendly at all! Go to Starbucks they are nice :) ppl like her shouldn’t work with the public! After it was all said and done my white Alaskan was underwhelming :(worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life… Even McDonald’s has better customer service.

Every time I go to this place, there are the nicest people, both working there and customers, and the best coffee. Love this place!

The best coffee anywhere, ever! This place is truly a gem. We travel to a variety of cities and states and this coffee, smooth and rich is the best we’ve ever tasted. This charming place also includes outdoor seating and warm hospitality. We will have to come back for the crepes but they also feature muffins and Danish. Get the better, big one and go local. You will thank me! If you are in Ramona, this is the only place to go for coffee. Thank you, Packard’s, for being here while we were visiting my sister. We will definitely be back!

Stopped here for a coffee and a crêpe. First for the customer service. Girl at the counter was friendly and helpful. Showed me some choices and recommendations — 1 star for that. The coffee was decent and fresh so can’t complain there. Now for the crêpe, it took 20 minutes for 1 crêpe which was quite a while when we really had to get going(expected a typical 5 – 10 min wait right?!). Once I got it, it was not what I ordered :(ugh…super bummed out. Not going to drive back to have them remake one, not worth another 20 min wait. Anyways, 2 stars since the girl was friendly and decent coffee. Will try again and update later Thx!

WARNING!– We came a little after 8pm on Cruise Night to enjoy some coffee. Went in and the cashier said that they were OUT of coffee for the night. How could a coffee shop be out of coffee!!! It only takes less than 5 minutes to bre just one cup of coffee! Abviously they were just to lazy to brew some more coffee before they closed up for the night, which is supposed to be 9pm. Very bad for business. Not coming back here again.

my boyfriend and I recently moved to the estates, and were looking for somewhere to grab breakfast before work one morning and stopped in. SOFANTASTIC. I would always recommend Packards. The staff was so kind and warm hearted. And the turkey basil crêpe :’)

Yummy coffee, personal service, 1 star off for it being a bit pricey. I get it — quality costs more, but its still hard for me to pay more than $ 5 for a coffee drink. I’m cheap, I know. I ordered a custom drink. The barista was very sweet & friendly, and seemed to know everyone who came in! I like that! I’ll be back for sure, I definitely loved their vast selection of coffee syrups! Thank you guys!

Stopped in for a smoothie. They have a variety of coffee drinks here too. And pastries. But it was a hot and muggy day and the thought of an ice cold smoothie was enticing. Was not disappointed. Staff is friendly and service is always with a smile. Since Ramona is such a small town chances are if you come here enough– you will eventually be known by name.

Sadly I’d love to give a locally owned business my patronage. It’s just not as nice of atmosphere as the big competition down the road. :(Seems old and dated, crowded, and the outdoor patio gets too much traffic noise.

Fresh sweet and savory Crêpe’s every weekend. Freshest Coffee in town. The newest chicken savory is one of my favorite. Tender chicken breast, sauted mushroims and onions. Topped with a creamy white sauce, shredded jack cheese and green onions. This was such a light, yet filling lunch.

We are moving down the street from this place and are very happy about it! They serve Café Moto, and being from central San Diego we are happy about this! Great service, and cute atmosphere! :)

My family and I stopped in on a whim for some crepes. I ordered the kitchen sink, strawberries and cream and strawberries and nutella. Now I have had crepes before, straight out of French women’s kitchen and these were not the same in any way. With that being said I did not base my rating on authenticity. I rated on how good I found the food to be in general along with the service. The kitchen sink was alright, I enjoyed the potatoes but the rest was okay, slightly on the cold side of warm but it was okay. The strawberries and cream was the best. The strawberries were crisp and juicy, not a squishy bit in site. The whip cream was thick and creamy, and the sauce on the inside helped the crêpe more flexible and held the flavor well. The strawberries and nutella was nothing special really . As far as beverages go I was satisfied. My Chai tea with soy was perfect my husband got a regular coffee and as he went to get this coffee another man came to get a refill and he got scolded about how there were no free refills. Made everything pretty awkward a simple sign saying so would solve a issue of flooding customer. We ended up spending 30 dollars which was a bit on the high side for what we got but I can understand since the prices of produce has skyrocketed. So with that said I will make my own crepes and save a pretty penny. Thank you for the experience.

As a big fan of «local» products, I decided to give Packards my business rather than Starbucks for a few weeks while working in Ramona. 2Nd day there, the older lady pointed that I had taken 2 cups, rather than a sleeve for my 16oz cup of coffee. I explained that the sleeve doesn’t fit in my cup holder and that having 2 cups was easier for me. I indicated that I would put some money in the tip jar(for the cup-even though the coffee is self serve) as a gesture that I appreciate the extra cup. She snottily responded that the tip $ doesn’t pay for the cups. I told her I would just buy the cup, and she responded that it would cost $.50. So I bought the cup. First off– horrible customer service. What ever happened to «customer is always right» ? Secondly– I happen to have experience in the coffee industry, and have a rough idea of what a single cup cost, and it’s probably around .10-.12 cents per 16oz plane white paper cup. Is .12 cents worth losing a customer? Third– The most profitable drink at a coffee shop is regularly brewed coffee. And at packards, it’s self serve, so the barista doesn’t have to do anything except take your money. So, not only did they make the maximum amount of profit/drink from my business, they also didn’t have to lift a finger to prepare my drink. Basically this type of attitude is unacceptable in my opinion, and I not only won’t go back, but I will write this review because it basically pissed me off that the lady was so rude about me taking an extra cup. I mean, seriously– an attitude towards a customer about taking 2 cups vs 1 cup? Wow.

I love Packard’s! Every time I’m in Ramona, or just passing through, I make it a point to stop in for a cup of coffee or just to say«hi» to the girls here. They are super friendly, have the best coffee in the area by far, and they give back to the community, which is HUGE to me. If you’re passing through on a weekend, make sure you grab a crêpe – they make them every weekend and they’re AMAZING! For a drink recommendation, on a hot day try any of the Alaskans, my fav is the White Alaskan. Thanks guys for providing exceptional value to Ramona! I’m a customer for life. :)
