University Theater

We have been to several plays here at Frank Thompson hall and so have experienced both theaters. The plays have been fun. The acting is pretty good. Not broadway, but very entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed THE DIXIE SWIM CLUB and SOUTHERN COMFORT. The first being utterly fantastic. The sets are minimal but good enough. Would love it if they offered some sort of refreshments for purchase during intermissions. The chairs are comfortable. The heating/​air conditioning has always been very comfortable. We have enjoyed the events that offered refreshments after the shows – it would have been nice to mingle with the actors as promised, but they are slow to come out. Still, a great value in entertainment and worth the drive.
