I gave them another shot this past Thursday(12÷6÷15) Its still the same BS. They give you joke offers on good like new items and put near retail on old/busted up stuff. They had some phones out with busted battery covers, scratched screens wanting what they were going for new. Sorry Im not gonna pay $ 50 for a lumia 635 thats broken when I can go get a new one for that price or even free with some carriers. The big kicker is when I took in a like new ultrabook with 4th gen core i5 and 8gb of ram, I was offered $ 80. I was offered $ 80 even AFTER he saw me emailing and I told him I was emailing an interested party for $ 200 on the laptop. They didnt even want to attempt to compete, their loss not mine. I walked out the door and sold it for $ 20015 minutes later. It lists in sold listings on ebay for $ 300 easy. If they would have offered $ 150 I would had said fine since it was right then and there. Hell, even the pawn shops will do the dance and negotiate with you some and attempt to keep you as a customer. It was flat out $ 80 dont like it then leave. I guess they are doing well enough off that they dont need to be competitive or retain customers. Since the last time i was in there vs this past Thursday there were less people in there shopping.

Disappointed… Over the past year or so, I’ve been a steady customer with trade it. Unfortunately I recently purchased a used wet tile saw for $ 29.00.of course when i attempted to use it, the motor struggled to make the cut and in most instances didn’t So, I brought the tile saw back to the store for an exchange or refund as it’s obvious the motor is defective. The sales representative said the motor wasn’t defective as when they brought the saw from the seller the saw. was tested by them actually cutting tile.(Really)…the sad thing about this situation is that they refuse to refund my full purchase amount. Because according to them if it operates then its not defective… smh…I. guess. Somebody will purchase This defective tile saw.

The most horrible experience… moving, I thought I would see how this place was… OMG…the«being robbed» reviews were an understatement… they wanted to give me nothing for all of my apple products, electronics and gaming systems… after I removed my Wii and apple stuff they wanted to give me $ 20…I mentioned the poor reviews to the«acting manager» Justin… he was ridiculous! He got offended that I said they don’t have a great reputation and he said«I’m sorry you feel robbed»…which is funny because those were his words not mine… then when I stressed those are people’s reviews, I had never been here, he told me he didn’t want any of my stuff… I fell out laughing at him and he walked away! I would rather give stuff away then to be «robbed», disrespected and treated poorly by this awful company TRADEIT… not only will I never recommend this place, I’m gonna make it a point to make sure people do NOTSELLORBUY from this crooked place!!!

This place has a very sketchy vibe and their products are not cleaned before they are displayed. I had a friend that bought a PSP3000 from here for her 7 year old son. Before she gave it to him she gave it to me to format the memory on it. Its a great thing she did this because there was porn in the images and videos section. I called the store to tell them what had happened and they told me that they try to format everything but sometimes things slip thru the cracks. They didn’t even apologize for it being their fault that a 7 year old was almost exposed to pornography.

Okay looking at others reviews I guess I have a different opinion… my dad & brother love this place. They literally come every two weeks just to see what stuff they find. Sometimes they aren’t lucky & just leave but most of the time they find some small thing or game/etc.Anyways is just for fun !

Here’s an idea Trade It. Before you slap your overpriced price tag on it clean up the item. Otherwise your just a yard sale inside a building.

I’ve been there several times to sell electronics… Usually nearly new, new in box, or just released… The price you are offered at first is a joke… they treat you like you are dumber than a box of rocks and try to justify their low prices using phrases like«we have to pay 40 bucks to have the device wiped».(So why make me pay for that? Cost of doing business) or «apple just isn’t as popular as it was». I understand the game… They pay half of used eBay prices… But often don’t even offer that. Their first offer is often extremely low-ball hoping you won’t know to negotiate or know the value of your stuff. Also, the price you receive will vary greatly depending on who you are working with. The Glenwood store seems better but make sure you go when there is a manager there. I will go back and forth between national pawn… Tradeit does take stuff that pawn shops won’t. Sometimes pawn prices are better… Sometimes tradeit is better(eventually after you cut through the bs and negotiate a real price). You will always do better on Craigslist but that takes time and patience and dealing with the inevitable scammers When you go, do your homework… Check sold listings on eBay and expect half of that. When they ask what you are looking to get, throw out a number about 50 percent higher than you expect to get. Don’t be afraid to say no and walk… If they want it, they will chase you out of the store to get you back. Be prepared to wait… A long time! And you’ll probably want to take a shower afterwards because dealing with these folks makes you feel dirty!
