The English Garden

I have been a loyal customer of Cydney’s and the incredible ladies of the English Garden for almost 10 years and they never cease to amaze me! You should try one of their monthly classes… always impressed what I learn from them and get to create. This is a staff of beautiful people with knowledge and heart who make every event or arrangement special.

Bought flowers online and used coupon. I sent a funeral arrangement and I was told by a family member that it was so nice, the funeral home placed it in the most prominent spot. So that was nice.

Best florist in Raleigh! My family and I have been using them for years and every time the service and arrangements are top notch. Most recently I called to order a bouquet for my parents. Lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice. I gave a dollar amount and said it was florists choice of flowers. She then informed me that they would be delivered same day. Exceptional! My parents received the flowers and they are beautiful! Once again the English garden exceeds my expectations!

Set up a same day delivery over the phone all the way from Cali… The girls worked with me over the phone to get my desires correct and even texted me pictures of the finished product before the delivery went out. This florist gets a huge double thumbs up from me… esp for getting business done from 3k mile away. Would be delighted to use them again. :)

We were married in our home the Saturday before Christmas. Cydney and her amazing crew took on the task of not only flowers & candles for our ceremony/​party day of, but also decorating the house with trees, garlands and ornaments that we plan on using year after year. We were blessed by their vision and hard work (4 flights of stairs y’all!), our guests were wowed and we cannot wait to deck our halls next year & evermore. Thank-​you Cydney, Renee & Lauren for the long days of dedication — EVEN THRU Thanksgiving & Christmas! — and for helping create such an elegant memorable event that we will cherish forever.

I’ve used The English Garden for floral arrangements twice now. Both times I’ve been disappointed. Both times the arrangements were smaller than expected for the price, but the second time was really bad. There had been a snow storm before Valentine’s Day, so maybe they only had old flowers but some were dead on delivery and all were well past their prime. And the arrangement looked, shall I say, disorganized. These were my flowers for my wife on Valentine’s Day. Definitely not worth the price. If they only had week old stock, they should have told me instead of passing it off as fresh. And while the first time I used them the arrangement was pretty, albeit small, this second time was not good. This is the last time I’ll use The English Garden.

AMAZING!
I was incredibly surprised to find the most beautiful vibrant flowers waiting for me on my doorstep for my birthday. (My girlfriends and I always joke that «you can always tell when its an English Garden bouquet» due to the unique exquisite flowers they use.) Especially since all of my family live in Washington State. I found out, my mom had called the English Gardens, worked with them and had them do a long distance delivery.
My mom is a difficult person to please and she couldn’t stop talking about how delighted she was to work with these wonderful girls.
When trying to decide what flowers to send, they worked with her for the different options and arrangements till everything was perfect to her liking, even though it took NUMEROUS tries. They even ever so patiently sent her pictures and waited for her to sneakily verify my address.
English Gardens is a gem. They are so professional, sweet, patient and hard working. Also, the flowers were absolutely stunning. I can’t wait to get flowers from them again!

I recently purchased a LivingSocial deal for a BYOB floral design class at The English Garden and redeemed it last night. I was so impressed! The staff went above and beyond to make the night an educational, yet fun experience. For $ 40, they provide fresh flowers and a lesson on how to arrange them into a theme. Last night’s theme was 4^th of July/​Beach theme and we designed a red, white and blue floral arrangement in a sand pail complete with sand! The lesson lasted about an hour and was completely stress-​free (even for this control freak!). I will definitely be back for more classes and for all of my florist needs.

After years of trying to send flowers through online services, I realized the difference when you can find an excellent local florist, which is what English Garden is. I have ordered many times from English Garden, and each time, the arrangement has been beautiful and the cost has been reasonable, given that you can get a lot less from your money elsewhere. I also like that I can suggest a color or scheme and the staff gives great suggestion — Impeccable service, beautiful flowers!!!

Working with The English Garden for my wedding flowers was great! They really took the time to listen to what we had in mind as well as give us some great ideas. I liked how at our first meeting they put together a bouquet of some flowers so I could see what they would look like together and choose which ones I wanted to use in the wedding. (Plus, they let me take it home afterwards!) We had a budget and they really helped us stick to it by giving us different options. And of course all of their creations were absolutely beautiful!

I own Fleur D’Lis Flowers in San Diego and needed to send an order for one of my regulars out to his mom for Mother’s Day. What great service I received and loved that this was a THIRD generation floral shop. Will be using this florist again for my wired out orders.
