A truly AWESOME family owned Conveniece Store. 750 different beers and 800 types of wines. I couldn’t believe the proprietor could pack so many items in such a small space! Yet all items are well displayed! Also, cigarette pricing is the lowest in the area. I get my morning coffee there too, fresh and hot. The staff is friendly and we’ll trained. You can get in and out quickly. There is plenty of parking right out front. Exxon fuels, are available at 4 pump islands, all at competitive prices. They even have diesel at a separate pump! Bagged ice and propane tanks are available right outside the front door. Need to air up a tire or vacuum your car? Both are right there. Oh, need a Uhaul truck, trailer, even boxes. They got ‘em! This is why I give ‘em 5 stars. I’m in there 7 days a week!

Go, Team, Go! One of those uncanny gems you might never uncover without Unilocal.I discovered Danny A’s review while searching for the best beer shops in Raleigh. Had to check it out myself! While Phil fueled up, I went inside — typical convenience store stuff like junk food and a small hot bar. But, upon closer inspection, you realize the three walls of refrigerated beverages don’t house your typical Bud Lights. Instead, Rogue and Smuttynose sit alongside fruity lambics and seasonal brews. I’m not kidding when I say I’d never even heard of probably 2⁄3 of the stuff in here. Surprising, and absolutely worth a visit should you find yourself in need of a six-pack on this side of town.

Regular olé Exxon on the outside, awesome craft brew superstore on the inside! I know, it’s amazing. If you’re like me you’ve probably driven by this Exxon a ton of times and thought it to be just another run of the mill convenience store. Well this is one that you really should check out. The walls are lined with coolers(from memory it seems like there are probably about a dozen of ‘em) sporting your favorite craft brews from Rogue, DuckRabbit, and Highlands as well as a ton of different micro-brews you’ve yet to try. From memory I think they also have a decent selection of wine as well, but honestly I was blinded by the beer selection to pay much attention. This truly is a great find in northeast Raleigh!
