I have been going this shop for a while. I guess I get lucky everytime I go. I always walk out happy. This time when I went to bought hair at the shop. The hair the shop sells is really nice. I does not feel like cheep hair that is bought at the store. I will be back. Style ahead is one of my favorite hair salons

This was a interesting encounter with the company. Earlier this evening I called to confirm the«last call» when the doors would lock for the final customer. Please keep in mind the reason for the call was because I was Traveling from Goldsboro visiting a family member just rushed to the hospital today. So… Please excuse the added emotion. Back to the encounter. the young lady answered the phone was upbeat. She forgot the phone script, but we laughed it off. I asked when was the time for the final customer? «She she’s 7:30 «okay great see you soon! Pull up to the door at 6:50pm door is locked. Knocked on the door I can hear people inside so I wanted to say I called. Please help. I’m here! Nope, nothing no one would come to the door. Extremely, distasteful. Whenever, I get a sew in this is my spot. However, unfortunately I will no longer support this company. And while I’m only one consumer. I’m sure the lack of customer service shows in other areas as well. — To the company please do not contact me. I’ve attempt to leave a message to full voicemail. So it is obvious customer feedback is not a priority. Take care

BEWARE! I give them one star because I didn’t have to wait when I came in and the process was quick. I didnt have time to wait at my normal salon because I had to work. However, I found it to be a complete RIPOFF. First they charge you $ 60 which is not an issue –that is what’s listed on their price list — but beware, there is an extra charge to not have your tracks cut. Yes… to NOT… cut your tracks! You are paying $ 25 extra for them to do NOTHING to your tracks. Its a scam because they know anyone who comes in with quality hair will NOT want their tracks cut because it ruins the hair. So why not list the price as $ 85 on the menu as a different package? Then on top of that towards the end she claimed there would be a lump if she didn’t cut one of my tracks towards the top. So yes, she still ended up cutting it. I’ve NEVER had that problem anywhere else so if there was to be a lump, that is a lack of craftsmanship on their part… which was probably the fault of the braider whose braids are WAY too big. The braids around my leave out are bulky and hard to cover where the tracks are. I would have been satisfied with 50 – 60 bux but I was not told about the $ 25 extra charge until after I paid the $ 60, tipped $ 10, and bought an $ 8 hair product(which is only $ 4 in the store) So in total, I spent $ 103…no style. No cut. No perm. No wash. No treatment. Nothing. JUST the sew in. For what I got I could have paid $ 54 total across the street at TVHS and had a better job done. As a matter of fact, I could have gotten a sew in, cut and style… and probably color for what I paid here. I WILLNOTRETURNTOTHISRIPOFFEXPRESSSALON!!!

So far I’m not impressed. Just like everyone else, I saw the commercial and was very excited to go to the shop. I tried the shop at Capital Bldv. and the receptionist was a little rude and the shop looked horrible. So I drove over to the Knightdale location the next day. Hours of operation say 9a.m. — 9 p.m. on the door. I arrived at 9:30 and the shop is was still closed. It is now 9:50 and no one is here. A week later I did schedule an appointment and I was very pleased with the stylist that did my daughter’s hair.
