Very slow at the register and count yourself lucky if they manage to get your order correct. When you’re paying close to $ 5 for this crap you’d think they would make an effort to get it right.

This is one of my favorite stores in Raleigh. I live on the opposite site of town and I go out of my way to visit this store when I can. I love that the store is always very clean, the staff is welcoming and my drink is always made correct (and it is complicated). I only visit about 2 – 4 times per month yet Stacy, Charlie and Frankie always remember me (and my crazy drink).
I wish I loves closer and this was my «home store». Clearly they have excellent leadership at Pleasant Valley because they always seem to have a new award. :)

PTL !!! I’m not a coffee person. ((traumatic experience). But I love tea! (Only green and passion tea). Starbucks is where I used to go for both.
Unfortunately once they changed to teavana I no longer get the green tea. It’s too weak. (BRING BACK TAZO) the passion tea is still decent. I get so many shots of sweetener that I can’t tell the difference. The staff here is nice. It’s located In a little shopping plaza. You can get bagels next door or Thai across the way. All in all I won’t visit everyday due to the price. However, u should definitely treat yourself once a month.

This is one of the smaller Starbucks in a shopping center. There is plenty of parking and despite the small size this store appears to be busy most of the time. The employees tend to handle the customer load and take the orders promptly but there is very little interaction after that. This store is comparable to all the other Starbucks in the quality of their products. The employees are professional but not overly friendly or welcoming.

This is the best Starbucks in Raleigh hands down. It does turn a bit hipsterish in the afternoon, but the Manager Charlie always makes you feel at home and comfortable.
They’re always super quick and I have never had to wait in line longer than 10 minutes.
I’m definitely a fan of this place.

A very close location to our apartment. It is a very convenient location and I can get in and out quickly. I always stop in here on Sunday mornings. The baristas working there understand that I am not 100% awake at that point, but they are happy to listen to me repeat my order. There are always pastry samples on the pick up counter and the music isn’t too loud, which is nice early in the morning.

Corner from home, convenience is key.
It is one of the smaller locations but don’t let that fool you. This place can capacitate lots of people. The employees are giddy and definitely coffee drinkers. haha. They also know they’re stuff. In and out in no more than 10 minutes max.

This is my neighborhood starbucks and it’s where i get my caffeine fix! Drinks are the same as all other Starbucks. It’s located in an old shopping center, but it’s right off Glenwood and it’s never too crowded other than the morning/​afternoon rush. Whenever they are slammed, their barista-​extraordinaire Charlie (and I believe he is now in the management position as well) will be there to get you in and out in a flash! He’s fast, and what’s best is that he remembers what you order after just one visit! It’s great when you’re on the go! (I did feel bad when I changed up my order from my usual and confused him).
On the side note, has anyone seen this cool older Cuban gentleman who sits outside in the mid morning drinking his espresso reading a book? His presence makes this joint a café and not just a franchise coffee shop. :)

I’ve been to this starbucks several times and feel that I need to review it. The drinks at all starbucks are practically the same so you will know what to expect. So my review is strictly based on the service and store.
The store itself is in an old shopping center. Parking is plentiful and easy to get in and out of. That’s the only positive thing I can say about this location. There isn’t much seating as it is a smaller store (seems typical of Starbucks in Raleigh however). My major complaint about this location is the service. The employees have been rude and its always chaotic when they take my order. More than once have there been 2 or 3 employees shouting at me to take my order. I don’t know who to look at or who to give the order to. Its conistanly unpleasent here for the lack of seating and service. 1 star for the horrbile experiences!

What is nice about Starbucks is the consistency. Specific measurements=same drink every time, no matter where you are (unless someone makes a mistake). While the drinks here are all fine and good, and the atmosphere is the same as any other Starbucks, the service is so slow that I could have run 3 laps around the strip mall before my beverage was done. No lie, I have waited 10+ minutes for a drink on more than a few occassions. If you have time for that, great, but definitely don’t go here when you’re on your way back from lunch and think «I have 10 minutes, I’ll grab a latte.»

Customer service is top notch here. Charlie is the best barista. After ordering a drink from him once, he remembers my order every time I come in and have it ready by the time I get to the front of the line (when it’s slammed). He’s super fast and courteous and so are rest of the staff. Place is a little small and seating is limited but it’s a great place to swing by to pick up your drink.

I am always a fan of Starbucks. I know what to expect and it never wavers from site to site. The service is always friendly, well most of the time and I enjoy the atmosphere. Now with FREE WiFi, it is even better.
I have a weak spot for the Cinnamon Scones.
