Starbucks

Great location near 440, Rex Hospital, and the fairgrounds. This Starbucks is a super spot for meetings and working with a variety of tables strewn about inside and outside. On this busy Friday morning, cars were lined up around the building for the drive thru and seemed to me moving at a good pace. I would recommend it for passing through or taking a moment to pause.

The lady who made my venti decaf caramel macchiato at 6:54 p.m. last night is the NICEST and FRIENDLIEST barista of ALL the baristas in all the SBUX!
My day was going «rough» but she turned it around!

I only come here because of the convenience. This place is lacking enthusiasm, customer service, and fresh products. Anytime I order my drink they make it wrong or it somehow gets screwed up and also, their bakery items are always stale. Very disappointing!

Nice space for a business meeting. Plenty of room in an enclosed area in the store. I ordered a wrap and it was nice and hot and the ingredients were fresh. They were out of bananas for my husband’s smoothie. Otherwise, a good experience. Clean restaurant.

Not a bad Starbucks. Had an iced americano and a cake pop. Services was pretty quick. A lot of the previous comments mention the inappropriate/​unwelcome humor of some of the baristas, but mine were pretty friendly and didn’t give me any hassle with my order.
Only thing I did not like was the lighting outside at night. The surrounding area is poorly lit, and there are no streetlights or anything in the front of the store. It doesn’t seem like a bad area, but more lighting for this standalone store could make it a little more inviting. Otherwise, I’m happy with this Starbucks and would come back again.

Terrible and slow customer service. The girl at the counter forgot to push the start button to cook my food item (I know because I heard her say so) so I had to wait about 5 minutes for food when the café was almost empty. She never once apologized. This isn’t the first time I’ve had slow service at this location. Do yourself a favor and drive around the corner to Caribou. You will get faster and friendlier service.

Second time here… The first time my drink was spilled on me in the drive thru… This time I walk up the counter and the girl greets me… What’s up obviously I want a drink are you dumb. Won’t come back to this location

I used to love going to this Starbucks for the big, comfy lounge and drive-​thru when I’m in a rush. But one employee has made this place completely unbearable, and I won’t be going back. Dave C. referenced the «wacky» humor in another review. We had experienced this a couple of times in the drive-​thru– it was annoying and unfunny, like Kenny Bania on an episode of Seinfeld, but in short nothing to stop us from going there at first.
Then last week, my husband and I decided to hit the drive-​thru after work. The person said something asinine instead of greeting us like normal human beings. We both quietly groaned. It was Starbucks Kenny again. I told him hi and «one second» while we figured out our order, and he replied «Take your time, we’re open until 10 tonight!!»
He continued with several obnoxious one-​liners, and then asked if we had any plans for Easter. I told him we don’t celebrate Easter, just to cut the conversation short. He replied with a really exaggerated «Uh oh». Then he gave me our total and said «that’ll be ready by midnight.»
I don’t know if it was the fact that I didn’t force a fake laugh this time or if it was the fact that I told him I don’t celebrate Easter, but whatever it was, Kenny had no zings or customer service waiting for us at the drive-​thru window. He didn’t greet us, scanned my Starbucks app without saying anything, then left us sitting there for about a minute. Then he gave us our drinks in total silence. What?
As we drove off (feeling mildly emotionally exhausted), we heard Starbucks Kenny greet the next customer behind us with the exact same one-​liner in which he refers to himself as «the homeboy».
Never again.

So this Starbucks is by far the best one ever with the exception of the mall. I came here once before and the service was amazing. This time I chose to try the drive through. One thing I find fascinating is that this Starbucks is a recycled restaurant. It appears to me that it was once a bank and they did a great job at preserving the blankness if the drive through. Another thing that made my day was Nancy she took my order and was exceptionally great at customer service. The final awesomeness was that someone paid for my drink and left a message to pay it forward.

I’m pretty pleased with this Starbucks…
A friend of mine lives nearby, so I’ve only been here twice (I live in Charlotte). The first time I went, it was a Sunday morning about 8/8:30 AM & there was a long line at the drive-​through. Thankfully, my 7:45 AM trip there yesterday (also a Sunday) faired better, as I was the only one in the drive-​through.
Both times have been consistent in that the baristas are very friendly & I don’t have to wait long once I am at the window. Beverages (mine were the gingerbread latte the first time & caramel flan the second time & my friend’s was the white chocolate mocha) have been perfect in temperature & taste both times.
I’ll definitely see this Starbucks in future visits.

Pretty decent location. Drive through. Roomy. Converted bank. A couch and a few comfy chairs, but a lot of rowdy kids late on a Saturday afternoon.
But it’s the coffee and wifi that are most important. Both are just fine.
And the piped-​in jazz drowns most of the kids out.

Starbucks = Starbucks = Starbucks = Starbucks.
What sets this location from the pack? The ALL-​STAR IMPROV COMEDY CREW!
That’s right! On weekend mornings, if you go through the drive thru, you may get treated to the comedy stylings of some really great up and comers.
Maybe they are saying «mew» over and over (like a cat, get it?!? it’s craaaazy!) while taking your order. Or, they give you a crazy total – like «that’ll be 24 dollars and 105 cents!»
They are SOOOOOO wacky! And let me tell you, when you just rolled out of bed, have no sense of humor whatsoever, and just want your damn coffee, it REALLY MAKES YOUR DAY!

Not my fave Starbuck’s…I think it is just where it is situated. I think the staff is pretty on it as far as speediness but I have found that for some reason the coffee I get from here is never quite as hot as other Sbux, and it never tastes the same. For example, a non-​fat white mocha at other locales taste like a non-​fat white mocha. The ones I get from this locale taste like old coffee that is lukewarm.
Now, if you go for a Frapaccino, you’re all set! It’s nice and cold and tastes like a Frapaccino that you would get at any other Sbux.
Needs some consistency.

I find that most of what I have tried is overpriced for the quality. Honestly since I am not a fan of coffee in any form, this review concentrates on everything else that starbucks sells.

Stopped by here one afternoon for a frappuchino (the mocha coconut, which was tasty). Service was friendly and quick, although it wasn’t particularly crowded. Being that it’s in what used to be a bank, the atmosphere wasn’t quite as cozy and warm as some other SB’s, but it was spacious. A nice advantage to this one is that they have a room where you could have a meeting, game night, etc. without bothering other customers. This one also has a drive-​thru.
