Staples

Had the best experience possible at this Staples today. I’d bought an HP printer (don’t buy!) which was noisy from the start, then began spewing either blank or ink smeared pages; it was clearly defective. It was purchased on ⁷⁄₃₀; with vacation/​weekends, it virtually had less than 30days use. I had the receipt, called ahead, spoke to a manager, then the GM, who advised they normally don’t take anything back after 14days but he’d make an exception. I got a full refund which I used to buy a Canon (our old reliable brand). After dealing with this awful HP/​malfunctioning device, they handled this optimally from a customer service perspective. I really appreciated their professionalism!

I was generous giving them 3 stars and I give them 3 stars for the recent improvements, however, they have a long way to go. First off, I stopped visiting here after a bad trip last year prior to the remodel. I went in looking for a desk calendar. They had 3 year old calendars for sale at full price. I ended up leaving because they did not have an 8×11 calendar for the current year.seriously. So I decided to try again today because my son needed specific school supplies. He wanted a 3 ring binder that fastens closed. They had it… in pansy purple. In fact, if you have a six year old girl that wants pink, purple or baby blue this is the store for you. I stood in the store and ordered the ring binder off amazon. So here is my message to the buyer… Everything should be available IN STOCK in black… not pink, not purple. If you want a teeny bop store, you are doing a great job. I wont be back, I could have saved the trip and ordered off amazon at home.

This is a slightly smaller staples, but it’s nice and clean. The people inside were very helpful and friendly. Because of these helpful employees I have another rewards cards. When will stores quit using these horrible things? I’ll be back when the appropriate needs arise.

It’s difficult to be a fan of a store that only offers a limited «in store» selection but provides a wide variety of options online. When shopping for higher end monitors you’re given 3 options in the store, and two of those are okay quality, and the third is just a shade better than the other choices. Due to the fragile nature of these, this is not the type of equipment I want to be ordering online.
Otherwise, the store is okay in most aspects. A lot of open space toward the back, and when I come in for 1099 forms, they are typically one of the few stores that have any left at the last minute.

This is a very nice Staples. It’s not the largest I’ve been in, but it has everything I typically need. I also find that it is relatively easy to find what I need enabling me to get in and out quickly.
