Office Depot

Extremely disappointed in their customer service. I drove here (20 minutes from my house) on a Monday morning to buy an item that was in the Sunday circular. They were out of stock, refused to give me a rain check and the Managers response was ‘it is as supplies last and we’ve been running sales on this item for 3 weeks.’ No apology was offered or alternate item offered. I usually shop at Staples and never run into an issue. This will be my last visit to Office Depot — you can’t trust their sales and they clearly will not try to keep a customer.

Office Depot, while convenient, does not offer all of the options that Staple’s offers. I frequent this Office Depot quite a bit because it is close to my office and I find that when I visit, they do have what I need, but limit the options of color, style, brand, etc. The store is also not organized very well, so I spend most of my time actually finding items.
It is rarely very busy, so there isn’t usually a problem with getting help if I need it, but when it is time to check-​out, it’s usually a ghost town. Plus, they have a giant red sign that reads, «Check Out» at the copy/​print area so when I head over there, I am told that is the check-​out for the copy print area. Huh? Why do the other lines not get a big giant «check out» sign?
Oh well… OD gets the job done, but it’s not my fave.

I went to pick up a few things this morning, love that they are open at 8:00am on weekdays. Lots of buy 2 get 1 frees and between the Worklife rewards program and returning ink cartridges I get lots of dollars back to spend in the store each quarter. Valerie helped me at checkout and she was efficient, professional and quick. Keep up the good job Office Depot and I’ll be a customer always.
