Mitchell’s Hair Styling

My son was brought in to get his haircut. He has been growing his hair a long time. It is very straight and fine, and was past his shoulders. When the «stylist» got done he looked like a 4yr old girl with a bob cut. The stylist was unable to fix it and did not charge us.
Absolutely a horrible haircut and experience. We ended up going to a budget clips type place and they were able to fix a majority of the hack that Mitchell’s performed.
Utterly disgusted. Long, straight, beautiful hair was butchered. I advise you to not even consider them in the future.

First let me start by saying that I am not one to post complaints online because I work in the service industry myself, however… The hair cut that I received this morning was BY FAR the WORST haircut I have EVER got!!! I saw Ramon and despite him telling me that he’s been a hair stylist for over 12 years (I don’t understand how…) it seemed as if it was his first time.
I asked to have an inch, maybe two taken off and my hair is barely below my shoulders and it was mid back length prior to going in. He took off roughly 4 ½ inches. The layer are ridiculously choppy as well. He didn’t listen to anything that I asked.
The service itself was also really odd… unlike any hair cut I’ve gotten. my hair was medium-​long in length and is not thick at all but it took him an hour and a half to finish (all I got was a haircut and a so called «style»). He kept asking me to stand up and shake my head. I have no Idea why? and the blowout was AWFUL!!! he didn’t use a brush and kept just pushing my hair around which just tangled it all up and when he finally did brush it it didn’t feel good at all. All I can say is I was really upset when I left and it was a HUGEEEEE waste of $ 40. I honestly wouldn’t even pay $ 5 for a hair cut this crappy. Its uneven and not at all what I asked for. I don’t even want to have to pay someone to fix it because that only means they will have to cut more off. It’s really sad because to date I have had nothing but good service when I come to Mitchells and I expected their standards to be a little higher especially considering their prices are not exactly inexpensive. I’m just not sure how he still works there…

Well I’ve been with my stylist Ashley for over 3 years after finding her after moving from upstate NY. So if was a little scared at first bc the last girl In NY said she was gonna put a high lift blonde on my roots. Well it turned to a purple hue! I freaked. When Ashley gave me a very educational consultation about first off why my hair turned that color it really started to make sense. She really know her stuff! She built a huge clientel over those 3 Years and decided to booth rent at Mitchell’s. She gives me exactly what I ask for every time. And the complimentary wine is a plus too:)))! I will say tho you need to call about a week or two in advance if you want to get in. Love ya Ash! Xoxo
