Maytag Coin Laundry

Had to come here when my dryer died. There were plenty of open dryers and felt safe while there.

I’m on tour and needed a place to do my laundry.
Got it all done here!
The woman working here was very helpful too!
They are able to charge your credit card and give you cash as well if needed.

I have used most of the laundomats by where I live, and wish I had found out about this one a long time ago — the others in the area do not even compare. It’s staffed, clean, has a large number of washers and driers for all different load sizes — and they actually work, lol (something that, sadly, is not the norm in most laundromats.) The facility is air-​conditioned (another rarity…), has two TVs, vending machines, video game machines, two coin changers, clean/​working restrooms, free WiFi, and even complimentary coffee for their customers.
I don’t give out five stars very often, but in this line of business, Maytag Coin Laundry definitely deserves it.

10 out of 10 would never go back.
My reasoning behind this is because 1: there were kids running and screaming everywhere, 2: The place felt small and squished 3: I dried my clothes 4 times and they are no where close to being dry. Whenever I opened up the dryer it seemed like no heat was used at all, despite the fact it was on «Hi» unless apparently it’s opposite day and for some reasons the mechanics are reversed. However, I dried a full load twice before splitting it up into smaller loads. and after that they still didn’t dry.
I would also like to state that I have been to another laundromat before that was $ 0.25 cheaper and did not charge me to dry my clothes. And even though I wasn’t charged to dry there, my clothes were dry way quicker than this place.
I was very unsatisfied with this place.

We used this laundry while visiting Raleigh. We travel alot and it is very hard to find a clean laundry. I highly recommend this one. It is very clean and the owner and employees are very helpful.

This is honestly the only laundromat we use. It is clean, well lit and reasonably priced. There is an attendant during business hours who has always been happy to answer questions. They have free wifi and now will give you change from a credit card swipe (with a low fee, exactly what they get charged) which is awesome if you don’t carry cash. I have always felt perfectly safe here and will continue to use them for my (mostly seasonal) laundromat needs.
