I am going to keep this brief because there are no words that haven’t been said already to describe the joy you feel when you eat here. Pure bliss. This little gem is THE best Thai in the Triangle. Hands down. Period. The Pad Thai Tofu and the Kee Mao Noodle entrees today were outstanding and knowing this now for several years, we compare all others to Lemongrass. Lisa and Charlie, you will always be the winner. Always.

In my opinion one of the best Thai food restaurants in the triangle. Pad Thai is great and Thai dressing is the best around. Somewhat spicy with a great flavor. Small and quaint atmosphere.

This place is DELISH. We usually order take out so I bet it’s even better if you dine in. Our go to is the green curry and pad thai. That being said, it is always VERY spicy so if you aren’t a fan of super hot dishes, make sure you ask for very mild. It’s the best thai in the area that I’ve found thus far! :)

Picked up some egg rolls and pad Thai and yellow curry today for takeout, first time eating here and it was excellent! We will definitely be coming back! The staff was very friendly and helpful as I didn’t know what to get being a Thai nubbie but wow. So good! And they were quick!

The restaurant was busy and takeout was very busy. I like more flavors in my thai food, but it was okay. The thai iced coffee and fried thai rolls were very good. Husband had the green curry, but didn’t like it. We sent it back and ordered the duck. He was very happy with the service and duck! Chicken with cashew nut was just okay.

Great Thai at last! Nestled in a quaint shopping center in North Raleigh, it does not draw a lot of attention from the street, but was worth the visit. The inside is tasteful yet modest. I started with a seaweed salad(the crunchy yet slimy green noodles marinated with sesame) and loved it — rarely do you go wrong with that. The regular side salad was served as well –like most other Thai and Japanese places, it’s the boring iceberg lettuce with carrots and tomato salad… but the ginger dressing was superb. Anyway, the beef panang was creamy and spicy and oh so delicious. Excellent Thai that North Raleigh residents need not go outside their neighborhood if looking for some.

Very nice, clean, and intimate environment. The staff was very polite and happy to do anything for you. I ordered the grilled duck panaang curry and it was by far my favorite dish I’ve ever had at a Thai restaurant. The duck was very juicy and had a great grilled taste to it that didn’t over power the natural flavor of the duck. Everything was perfect.

One of the best places in the city. Best Thai food in the town, best price and great service! Little known place where people assume it would be a hole in the wall but the food seems gourmet it is that delicious. As quick note, they aren’t kidding when they say spicy!

My favorite Thai in the Triangle* and among the best I’ve had anywhere– NYC, San Fran, Boston, etc. Delicious Pad Thai. Simply perfect. That’s the mark of a Thai restaurant. If they can’t nail the national dish of their homeland, I don’t see much point in their existence. But friends and co-workers rave about other dishes– I can’t break away from the pad Thai!– and my tastes of their meals confirm their enthusiasm. The papaya salad is so incredible. Crisp and spicy and oh-so much better texture and flavor than others I’ve tried. And their Tom ka gai is divine. A few other local restaurants do okay(and some are just hopelessly terrible) on this coconut and lemongrass soup but no one nails it like Lemongrass. Lemongrass does not try to burn your mouth off by default but dishes listed as spicy will pack a punch. You can request more spice to suit your tastes. Nothing is bland. Ever. Even if you can’t handle the heat, there is such balanced flavor… My mouth is watering thinking about it. Their lunch special is a wonderful value. Get the papaya salad with it and you’ll have enough food left for at least one other meal. And don’t deprive yourself of the joy of Thai leftovers for breakfast. My absolute favorite foods to start my day! *Sawasdee is very good too but I feel lacks the sublime subtlety of Lemongrass.

It has been way too long since we’ve been to this delightful restaurant! And the food is even better than we remembered! One thing I didn’t like about it in the past was they didn’t offer my fave Thai dish of Pad Kra Prow… well, they sure do now, and it was one of the best versions I’ve ever had. Love the veggies in it including green beans, peppers, onions, carrots… and if you’re looking for a Thai place that will really kick it up if you ask for it? This is it! They have three heat star levels. I asked for the middle one.(very spicy). Uh, it was indeed VERY spicy… I went through some ice water, let me tell you! Meanwhile Husband was enjoying Shrimp Pad Thai, which he said was a very good version of it. He sure scarfed the whole thing down. Both of our dinner entrees came with a choice of salad or fried noodles. No-brainer for us… we both got the cold refreshing salad with peanut dressing for me and ginger for Husband. Portions are very generous(I brought plenty of mine home, but that is partly because it was so spicy that I drank so much water). And prices are incredibly reasonable for the quantity and quality. My dish was under $ 12! This is a small restaurant, but we had no problem getting in on this Tuesday evening. Everyone around us seemed to be really enjoying their meals as well. Service was very good as well with a friendly guy and gal taking good care of all of us. 4 ½ stars… highly recommend!

Wowzers! Wonderful surprise from the triangle. Good so fresh and flavorful and mine was actually hot(most of the time they tell me it will be and it isn’t)! Great staff — so friendly and attentive. She remembered everyone that had come in before and made small tal like with all of us. My wife got the Tom Pad Thai Noodle and I got the Chicken Red Curry(extremely hot). Both were so surprisingly delicious! After we left CA, we haven’t had as much luck finding restaurants of the same caliber. Well, put one in the NC column when it come to Thai cause this place is fo rizzle. Definitely coming back here next time I’m Jonesin’ for some Thai!

Went in on a Wednesday for a business lunch with a party of seven. We arrived a little before 12 and were seated pretty quickly after they arranged a table to accommodate our group. Our drink orders were taken and drinks arrived fairly promptly… but then we waited over 30 minutes for the ‘appetizer’ portion of our lunch special.(They have lunch specials that include a appetizer, entrée and drink for varying prices depending on entrée selection). The appetizers arrived and before anyone could take more than a bite of them… our entrees arrived. Not one person apologized that it took 30 minutes for salads and egg rolls to arrive but instead shaved the entrees in our faces and we were left to make room for everything to fit. We had to ask several times for drink refills, I guess that isn’t customary here? The food itself was alright. My appetizer salad was lettuce, shredded, and one half of a grape tomato… the peanut dressing was a saving grace. I ordered chicken pad sew ew and I didn’t see hardly any egg in it, which is a listed ingredient and three small pieces of broccoli over a massive amount of noodles. The sauce was very good, however, sauce and noodles don’t make the meal in this situation. I’m not sure if its a culture thing, but a business lunch during the week shouldn’t take an hour and a half total from arriving to walking out the door. My co-workers and I weren’t expecting to be away from the office so long and not one person acknowledged anything.

We came here for lunch last week and boy was it busy. And I know why. The lunch specials are a great deal. You can get your Thai fix without breaking the bank. I had the tom yum soup as my starter, it was nose running good. I also had the Thai coffee, which was a first for me, but I haven’t met any coffee I don’t like, so this was pretty much a sure thing. It was sweet and delish. For my meal, no surprise, I had the Pad Thai. It was a lunch size, and just the right size. It was so good. I love this place, so I need to remember it for lunch more when one of my friends asks where I want to go eat.

Red Letters on the Menu indicates SPICY and Spice Level are : 1 = Spicy 2 = Very Spicy 3 = Extremely Spicy Spice Note: Spice Level BEFORE(or less than 1) on the Dishes«Indicated as Spicy» are pretty spicy though just below the least Spicy(1) of the Spicy Dishes! In other words if it is noted as «Spicy» it is BELOW(less Spicy) than the Level One Spiciness! On a POPROCKLOVE Scale of Spiciness 1 = Plenty Spicy for most Americans I have EVER met!!! Beef Salad one of my Favorite Thai Dishes(Sometimes called«Water Fall» Beef) Key Ingredients : Mint * Red Onion * Cucumber * Cilantro * Lime Juice * Fish Sauce * Beef * Tomatoes and Carrots Yummy! Pad Thai: this is a «Saucier» Version — Sweet though NOT overly sweet and of the sweet versions this one is one of my favorites… Ideally I prefer the MUCH«drier»(almost sauceless) though this one was good! Ginger Stir-fried with Chicken was probably my least favorite dish until I had the — Sweet and Sour Chicken(Thai) OK, better than the Chinese version or most of them

Of the three Thai restaurants in North Raleigh, I’m certain that this one is the best. They are fast, friendly, and very affordable. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside. I generally go for lunch during the week and get the special. For less than $ 10.00, you can get a drink(for for the Thai tea), an appetizer(baked tofu), and an entrée. I usually get the Chicken Panang, and it’s always a winner.
