Larkspur Salon Spa

I work in Raleigh and live nearish Chapel Hill, but because the esthetician Cameron is so on her game, I followed her from her prior location in central Raleigh up to Larkspur Salon & Spa. It’s a lovely place, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I see why the reviews are so good after one visit.
The pricing for Aveda facials is on par — if not better — than most spa/​salons of this type (upscale but unpretentious). The spa rooms are very comfy, and the table is the most comfortable I’ve experienced. There is a little bit of residual noise from the salon, but it’s very controlled as the salon and the spa are separated by a nicely-​sized and very comfy sitting area.
I’ve had oodles of facials for both relaxation and to keep my skin in good shape, and am always so relaxed and blissed-​out from Cameron’s technique and manner of working with me as a client.
Talent, I tell you, and she cares about results. Kudos to Larkspur and Cameron.

I do not use the services of this Salon but it is my wife’s go to.
I do enjoy taking my wife there for her appointments as Penny the Boxer, who was a rescue, is usually around to hang out with.
They carry lots and lots of product and Kiki does a great job with my wife’s hair so I have to rate this place very highly.
Gentleman send your wives here you won’t regret the results.

OH MY GOSH! What have I been doing with myself before I found this place??? To let you in on how good this place is, I have not found a salon to call HOME for 10 YEARS. That’s how picky I am! I’ve tried top notch to great clips and this is my bad mama jama. I feel confident and sexy every time I walk out of this place. MARGO IS A MUST for Haircuts. ALYSON IS A MUST for Massages & SIOBHAN IS A MUST for Mani/​Pedi-​Facials. LOVE LOVE LOVE These GIRLS AND THEIR TEAM! FYI — BEWARE: there is an adorable puppy dog waiting to give you kisses. :)

Love, love, love Larkspur! From the ambience of the salon to the service by the stylists, this place is incredible. A mini retreat with big time relaxation every time I visit.

I have been getting haircuts at this salon since they opened. Moving from California, it was hard for me to find a place that i trusted, was consistent, and was able to make sure I was completely happy with my new do! I have to look no further. So, seeing as I was so happy with the service there, I decided to try out a few massages! I have a new masseuse. In fact, I have received massages from three different therapists there and was happy with them all. Allison, is like the Goddess Durga, you will swear she has eight arms while she is massaging you! I, most recently, got a «body wrap» which is a misnomer. I would rename this massage the «cocoon» because I absolutely had a metamorphosis. I went in a tired mother of three and emerged as a relaxed, polished, happy mother of three. We all work hard and need a treat for ourselves! Perhaps it was the finely ground tea magic potion that was pasted on my body after the dry exfoliation, or the spa like shower that massaged all that goodness off, or the massage that was the piece de resistance. Whatever it was, it was awesome. I recommend this for anyone who wants to be rejuvenated and pampered. If you love someone (it’s that good), this is a great gift, too! I promise, you won’t regret it!

I had a prenatal massage with Alyson. It was the best thing I did for myself while I was pregnant! It was my second prenatal but my favorite. She used Aveda products which feel and smell incredible. Alyson was easy to talk to and made the experience very comfortable! It’s not easy feeling cute at 36 weeks pregnant. The spa and salon are beautiful and the staff is friendly and very welcoming! The hand written thank you card in the mail was a nice touch and made me feel appreciated as a client! I’ll definitely be back.

Larkspur is an absolute fabulous gem in Wakefield!
Imagine my horror when my hair stylist decided to quit hair, leaving me abandoned and wondering where I would go to have my tresses cared for… until now. Enter: Larspur Salon Spa!
I was referred to Larkspur from a friend who already has realized how wonderful their services are. I booked an appointment with Megan, the owner, for some hair lovin! When I walked in, the atmosphere was exhilarating! It is wonderfully decorated for indulgence. I was offered a glass of wine, my coat was taken, and I settled on the pleasant couch waiting for my appointment to begin. Megan greeted me, took me back, and we discussed my hair, my wishes, concerns, and basically a thorough hair consultation. She offered me some suggestions that coincided with my preferences, and away we went!
The hair washing was amazing! Not only did she take her time and massage my scalp, but the masseuse came over and massaged my hands and arms while I was in the chair. The wash ended with a hot towel behind my neck. I did not want to even leave the chair!
No need for a trim this visit, so the only the color and style for me. I cannot rave enough about this experience and how wonderful Megan and the staff were. Lucky me, they also do blowouts so I will be back regularly for those in between my visits for color and a trim.
If you are in the area, you must try out Larkspur. With all of the services offered: hair, makeup, massage, facials, and all around pampering, I feel fortuante enough to have it in my neck of the woods, but if it wasn’t, it would be worth the drive!
