Jill’s Beach Luxury Tanning

I started going to Jill’s Beach when I was 18 years old and eight years later, I am still a loyal customer. The older I get, the more I care about customer service and the CS at Jill’s is why I have never wandered to any other tanning salon. They always answer the phone cheerful, patient and kind. They treat each customer with priority and are never pushy or short with you. Every single employee is smart, knowledgeable, helpful and sweet as can be. Jill obviously is on the up-​and-​up when it comes to training because I am telling you, these ladies absolutely make my day. The beds are clean, the salons are stunning, the wait time is minimal and they have THE best pricing that makes the most sense. You should not even waste time looking at another salon; I have done the research year after year and Jill’s always has the best price point, the best service and THE best employees. Kristina Torres has been there since the first day I ever tanned and that girl knows her stuff. Jill is also in and out of the stores so it is nice to see the woman behind it all; she is so kind, smart and KNOWS her tanning industry! Michelle has been working there for years as well and knows every customer’s name that walks through the door. Go here. You will not regret it. AND MY TAN LOOKS SEXY AS HELL!

Let me start by saying this place is the best place to spray in a booth. I have a package for the mystic HD spray tan here and the price was very reasonable. I am however very disappointed with the fact that every time I take the time to schedule my spray tan days in advance, I am NEVER able to tan at my scheduled time. I’m talking 20 – 30 minutes after I have arrived on time. This is a huge inconvenience, and I really don’t get it. If people arrive late for an appointment, do not allow them to tan. Put a policy in place. It’s that simple. If appointments are constantly running into each other, spread them out more.

Great staff, very clean, and new/​up-​to-​date equipment. The staff was very helpful in assisting and informative in helping me get my desired results. The beds and facilities are clean and new.

I’ve been tanning with Jill’s Beach for 4 years. There’s something to be said when you walk into a business and the staff knows your name — definitlely makes you feel special. I’ve tanned in all levels of beds and spray tanned as well. They make the billing very easy and seamless (I’ve stopped and started my account over the years without any issues).

I gotta give it to Jill’s Beach! This place really knows what they’re doing. I go a couple of times a year to avoid blinding everyone with my white legs or to prep for a beach vacation, etc. For a tanning salon, the décor is cool and trendy — fun chandeliers. The most important thing about this salon are the knowlegeable staff. They are great at starting you out in the right tanning bed at the right time and slowly working you up. They call this the ‘no burn policy’. One thing you should know is they are very strict about making you wait 24hrs between appointments… to the minute, so remember what time you go if you plan to go again the next day. The only negative I found was the price of the lotion, however this isn’t specific to Jill’s Beach. Every tanning salon I’ve ever been to seriously upcharges the lotion. My advice would be to buy a sample packet — find one you like and then look it up on
. It’s seriously 50% cheaper that way.
They offer a few different packages starting at $ 29/​month. You can freeze anytime for $ 5/​month but that money goes into your account for future use… sounds good to me!
If you’re looking to get a shade or two darker for the summer, I’d highly recommend Jill’s Beach… it is the closest beach to Raleigh.
