My mom and I stayed here for a night when I was moving apartments. It was a great stay, with everything we needed and more. They allowed us to park our Uhaul in their parking lot with no extra charge. The premises is just the right amount of secluded and peaceful, but at the same time extremely convenient.(Right across the freeway entrance, and close to target!) During the evening they provided complimentary appetizers and drinks which were just what my mom and I needed after a long and tiring day of packing. The front desk folks were extremely friendly, the rooms were clean, and I love that they had complimentary wifi, parking and breakfast! Everything was great and on par, I have no complaints!

We stayed here a third time on Thursday night, during the closing of the sale of our house, and we were EXHAUSTED and eager for another pleasant stay. Check-in was a highlight, thanks to the extraordinary kindness of Bill at the front desk. This is someone who knows how to make a weary traveller feel welcomed! He also ensured we got the same room we’ve always stayed in, which helped us feel even more at home. Unfortunately, there was visible water damage in the bathroom that hadn’t been there during our last stay. There were no active leaks, but two highly visible areas of bubbling paint, plus coffee-colored water stains that I cleaned myself from the wall all the way down to the floor of the shower. Too tired to complain about a cosmetic issue(albeit one that should clearly have been reported by housekeeping and addressed by maintenance), we went to sleep. I was woken in the morning by the pitter patter of a gentle rain in the bathroom. There was a new leak, this time right in the center of the ceiling. Everything was soaked. I couldn’t even use the toilet without draping a towel over my head. I cleaned up the water, woke my husband, and we got ready to leave in the public restroom. I called the front desk, explaining we wouldn’t be using our much-needed late checkout because our bathroom was unusable due to an active leak and pre-existing water damage. She very weakly said, «Sorry about that» and that was it. On our way out, I stopped at the front desk and explained again that we mopped up the water as best we could, but that the leak seemed to have slowed. She again weakly said, «Sorry about that.» No offer of compensation, not even a refund of the points we used for the stay. Nothing. We paid for a hotel room that essentially did not have a usable bathroom, and apparently that was okay? I’m so disappointed that this hotel seems to be on a slippery slope to rundowns-ville. Leaving water damage in there in the first place was disrespectful(and possibly unhealthy as there was more than likely mould growing back there), but not caring that your guest’s stay was interrupted by a leaking ceiling? I feel bad that all Bill’s hard work is being undone by this lack of care. We will not be staying here again.

This is the cleanest hotel. Our room was huge, a king size bed, a pull out couch, a small semi kitchen area with fridge and microwave and much more. The price is half of what we usually pay at a Marriott. The indoor pool, weight room and the free breakfast is why we will make this our hotel in NC. A nice touch is when my husband was working on his PC for hours in the lobby, he was approached by the manager and asked is he can get him a soda or something to drink. If I have one negative thing to say is bring your own pillows. The pillows here are small and bumpy and you will wake up with a headache. I actually went to target and bought a nice pillow. I hope the manager can read this and while I heard amazing things that he’s done to this place. Please take care of the pillow problem, nice down ones will complete the whole atmosphere. Thanks for this friendly stay.

Solid Holiday Inn Express. Very helpful & friendly staff, clean room, standard breakfast selection. The room was clean(and I was freaked out by the older reviews with the bug bites) and in good shape. I had an event at NC State and this was far enough away that it was quiet, but not too far that it took longer than 10 minutes to drive there.

Had an event here in their Wolfpack room. My guest and I all stayed here and had a wonderful time! This is a new hotel and everything was very clean. All the employees are very nice. I would stay here again!

We had an incredible stay! The staff was very friendly. Helpful. The beds were soft. The breakfast bar was great. Lots of choices and good food. The air conditioner works very very well. The room was clean. Ample storage space. We would definitely stay here again!

chose this one cause it was already on the business but the correct address is 3741 — we are as mentioned before priority club members so we search for hotels that participate in this program. we have stated in holiday inn express hotels nationwide on varies occasions, did find this one to be a bit less taken care of than others we have been to. we did receive proper friendly service from all 3 employees we addressed. however, i too woke up with strange bits around my torso area.(of which i did not have prior to going to sleep) i found the room even thou it was made up did not feel it was clean. we needed ice and there was none on any of the floors all ice vending machines were broken. we did enough the free breakfast — this area did seem clean and well kept -(even the kitchen of which i took a peek into) GLAD this was only an overnite stay.
