Hilker’s Cleaners & Laundry

This was the closest place I could find to my house (10 miles) that I could find that does alterations so I knew it was going to be out of the way picking up. I had a little trouble finding. Google maps had me going in circles, but that’s not Hilker’s fault.
The girl at the counter was very pleasant and nice. We had a funny discussion about my GPS challenges. This made p for not being able to find it. I had 1 pr of pants that needed to be dry cleaned and a 3 – 4 inch sew-​job on a seam. I was dropping off on a Saturday and she asked me if Thursday was all right. I asked if she could do better and she gave me the option to take them to a tailor myself and come back for the dry clean. OK, so you don’t actually do alterations or at least on site. To me that makes the website misleading. I agree since I’m there. As I mentioned, I knew the pick-​up was going to be out of my way, so when I arrived on Thursday at about 6:30pm (they close at 8) to be told my pants were not there yet I was definitely disappointed. I was told they would be there later in the night.
I don’t typically need a lot of alterations. I would give them another chance just to see how it goes.
