I was very disappointed with the management of the Ideal Protein Diet at this center. Because of my determination I was successful in the one month I was there. The problems, a scale that works intermittently, overcharging compared to other centers, insufficient protein stock to choose from, and insufficient allowable amounts weekly added to the stress of being on the diet. It’s a new set up. The one technician who specialized in Ideal Protein clients was new to the program herself. Are they ready for patients yet? I recommend doing an internet and phone call interview before starting at any of the clinics. Don’t let your enthusiasm accept the location closest to you. I’ve found another clinic in Cary that suits my needs better. Good luck in your search.

Testimonial for Ideal Protein Diet by Mary Coones I started this diet under the supervision of my family doctor and chiropractic doctor(Dr. Carter) in April 2012. When I started these were my stats: 200 lbs., Type 2 Diabetic(since 1993), taking 60 units of Lantus(long acting insulin at night) and 25 units of Novalog(with meals during the day — at least 2 times a day). Now, 12 weeks later, I have lost 25 lbs., reduced my Lantus from 60 units to 15 and the Novalog from 25 units to 8 — 10 units depending on the meal. My A1c was 7.8% at the beginning of this diet and now is at 6.2%. I had been advised by many nutritionists on how to eat properly for a diabetic, but only succeeded in gaining weight and having to add more insulin. No matter what I did, nothing worked until I found this diet plan. When I first consulted about it, I felt confident that this one would really work and it has proven itself. Although it is expensive, I had to weigh the consequences: I can’t afford this, BUT I can’t afford NOT to do it. I’m glad I took the challenge and am confident that with proper guidance from my doctors, I have already extended my life by many years.
