Hardees is one of my best place to eat I spend at least 10 $ every week now two times I ordered spicy chicken in drive throw and they ask me to pull up. and the store wasn’t busy at all. That was around 3.30. After that I went inside the store to wait and 2 people caming after me they ordered cheese burger and they got their orders and another one in drive throw. And I said that’s fine. After 13min of waiting I decided to walk away. customer service 1⁄5 star

Convenient location + great student discount = a solid meal at a solid price. I typically think it’s useless to review big chains, but students in the area need to be aware of their nice student discount — buy a thickburger, get fries and a drink for free. Don’t forget the all important student ID.

We woke and hungered. Burgers, we said at once. There was a chill in the air, some foreboding, ethereal menace: a warning. We ignored it, buckled up, and drove. We pulled into the minimall parking lot, paved in sorrows. Trash danced in the wind. People shopped. Hardee’s sat, a beastly, desperate monolith. Inside, emptiness, an air of disuse: Coca-Cola signs no one reads, a menu with dust collecting in the corners. We ordered, sat, waited. An employee was changing her child’s diaper in the dining room. A man refilled his paper cup every few seconds. Something to do. The food, a gray mass: rough going down, unsure of intent(Am I a burger? A molded plastic toy for a child who’s not quite teething?). A meat product intent on being tasted for hours. We mourned. We watched the employees play with the child whose diaper was changed. The child talked childtalk. We threw away our wax paper and burger remains and drove away.

Hardee’s seems to have a bit of a stigma about it. Not sure why, but I’m definitely a fan. Unfortunately all the ones I know of tend to be a bit out of the way. Thankfully I realized this particular one is on the way to a friend’s place. Unlike most fast food places these days, Hardee’s seems to have settled down and focused on doing something and doing it well. That thing is burgers. They have your usual variety of other options such as hot dogs and chicken stuff, but their burgers are the star. They come in a wide selection of options such as Original, Frisco, Monster, etc. There is a low carb burger which comes with lettuce on the outside instead of a bun, and they’ve recently added turkey burgers which are pretty tasty to the mix. I’ll agree with the others that the service is friendly and the location is pretty clean. The look may seem a little dated compared to some other fast food places, but I’d rather have a good burger than a swanky chair any day.

There’s a special place in my heart for this Hardee’s. I used to live across the street after college at NC State so I was able to walk over here a couple dozen times to eat. I live in Charlotte now, but I do miss being that close to a Hardee’s… though it is probably better on my waistline. This location is clean, the staff is friendly, and you can get in and out pretty quickly. Also, there is a bunch of NC State pictures and memorabilia decorating the walls… A+ for State fans.

This is a Hardee’s in central Raleigh. It’s the one closest to my work(I live near two in Chapel Hill). I’m a big Hardee’s fan, so this is a regular spot for lunch. 1. HARDEE’S. Again, I like this franchise. If you like Hardee’s you’ll like this one too. No surprises, no special menu items, no menu items missing. 2. CLEAN. Some of the older school Hardee’s can get a bit dated. While this one is clearly not new, the staff keeps it clean. 3. FRIENDLY. Again, your service at a Hardee’s can vary a lot — the people here are normally very helpful and they have rarely messed up an order. They do bring the food out to your table. Note: I’ve been diagnosed with Celiac disease and follow a wheat /gluten free diet. Hardee’s is one of the best quick-serve-restaurants for this, as their food is well labeled(off of their website) and the low carb burger that they offer is gluten free. Their normal(not the curly) french fries are also GF.
