Our waiter was very attentive and made us feel welcome. The seafood tower was amazing and definitely was just enough for 2 people to share. We also had steaks wasn’t the most impressed with those. I still prefer a steak from Ruth Chris but I will say that the overall experience was a good one.

Fleming’s was great! I booked the restaurant for a thank you luncheon for volunteers for an organization I work with, and everything was perfect! I worked most closely with Chris and he was absolutely wonderful! Jessica and Brian(our server) were also amazing! The food was also really really good. I, and my guests, were EXTREMELY happy with both the food and service. I would definitely book Fleming’s again for future events.

Flemmings is a moderately elegant restaurant. However, the chef forgot to «rub» our steak. We felt the food was overpriced for what was served. The biggest error, however, was the management continued to call us the wrong name repeatedly. Although they were super nice and comped our steak, we will probably go back to Second Empire.

Adding some additional insight about their bar service! They have great bar food deals– the 5−6−7 and the 8−9−10 deals for food. Bar apps at discounted prices from 5 – 7 pm for $ 6 as well as select liquor and wine drinks for $ 6& $ 9(though alcohol prices stay the same the entire day due to NC happy hour laws). Other bar apps from 8−10p for $ 9…really great deals and really delicious apps. Definitely enjoyed the vino choices of course and the iPad apps that allow you to search for suggestions based on your preferred taste. Great happy hour spot with the girls!

We had Brian as our server and he made it an enjoyable experience. The food is always good, so the service becomes the only variable and there is none here. Everyone works to support the team and they all look good. Never go away disappointed from here.

This is off their small plates menu but a good sized portion for a small plate. Certified angus beef hanger steak over broiled poblano cream sauce, chilaquiles casserole, crisp fennel straw. Didn’t really capture the fennel straw in this pic as was eager to eat so put the camera away! Verdict: this dish was delicious! Dessert was the walnut turtle pie. House made caramel, walnuts & chocolate baked in a chocolate pie crust. Very rich and flavorful. Loaded with walnuts and warm. I love when desserts are served warm. The rather large sized bowl of fresh whipped cream was not unutilized. I absolutely love fresh whipped cream. Nothing beats FRESH! Oh, & the pie was good too. This place isn’t cheap but you get quality food, prepared beautifully, served in a beautiful environment & the service was great too. It’s the experience. The overall, that does it for me. PS — I learned about their Happy Hour specials when I arrived. They have 2 Happy Hour offerings! I was amazed because the only place I’ve ever seen 2 HHs offered, was in Seattle. Figured it’s a west coast thing. But maybe Fleming’s is bring the trend to east coast. Next time I go to Fleming’s I’ll try some of those items as the prices are really good. plus I already know the food is tasty. Happy Hour special: «5−6−7» Choice of 5 select cocktails, 5 select wines by the glass, 5 select apps, at $ 6 each, served between 5−7pm. Got it? They also offer a later Happy Hour. Happy Hour special: «8−9−10» Choice of 8 select cocktails & wines &8 select bar items at $ 9 each, served between 8−10pm. I will def be trying their Prime Burger at that price which is one of the select offerings.(They offer this burger during the earlier HH too, it’s just listed separately, and instead of the $ 6 price tag, it’s listed as $ 7. No big whoop, still a great price. I’m looking forward to my next visit & review!

I went for my birthday dinner and had a wonderful time. Bryan was our waiter and he made the whole experience even better. If you can request his service, I’d highly recommend it. This is the place to go for any special occasion, they’ll go all out.

Went last night for a celebration. Our server was Marie. From beginning to end, everything was done right. The complimentary bread and cheese infused butter was awesome in its own and a great compliment to the meal. I had the tiniest filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. The Flemings potatoes(au gratin style) were so savory. My house salad with lemon vinaigrette was light and tangy. I was disappointed that my appetite would not permit us to get dessert because my mouth was watering at the mention of molten lava cake. Certainly not a weekly destination, but an awesome place for special occasions.

Dinner last night with my family. Excellent customer service by the exceptional waiter Ben. The staff was prompt and attentive as well as polite and knowledgable. The GM made a point of introducing himself as did the wine steward. We all ordered Filet and Lobster which was exceptional. A three course value meal at less than $ 50 is amazing. Ordered cocktails which were made fantastically as well as took advice on a fantastic bottle of wine which was decanted table side as a bit of showmanship. Food was well flavored and all arrived at the perfect temp ordered as well as being delightful to the eye on the plate. Overall an excellent experience!

Had been looking forward to a nice upscale dinner date night with the hubby. Looked up the dresscode, read reviews, and thought this would be a wonderful experience. I was wrong. We were seated next to two small children, fine. Until there were numerous temper tantrums and spurts of crying. I gave them sympathy, but who takes small children to a restaurant like this?! Not me, I arranged for a babysitter. Completely ruined my expensive dinner. And if you are going to allow that, place them away from everyone. The total for two steak dinners, no appetizers, no alcohol nor dessert came to $ 170. Steak was great, sides were cold. Oh, and the so-called dresscode?, wear whatever you feel like. So much for a nice dinner. I will never go back.

I went here with a party of four for a birthday. I have to say they really gave the birthday person special treatment. Very nice experience. This is the birthday person’s favorite restaurant and they were very happy with the food. I had lobster tails and they were great. Also had asparagus, chipotle mac and cheese and Fleming’s potatoes. I liked the jalapenos in the potatoes but not everyone did. I really liked their creamed spinach. They have a warm, quiet dining area as well which is refreshing.

In the mood to be pampered by attentive waitstaff and knowledgeable bartenders at a high end steakhouse? Fleming’s is your place. Prices are also high end, but you can take advantage of some of their happy hour specials and get some very good food for less than the usual. Or splurge here for a special occasion — it can be worth it. The pros: the pastry chef is a genius with house made desserts that are worth every indulgently rich, sinful calorie. The meat is impeccably cooked, and if it’s not, they’ll whisk it away and fix it promptly. The staff is absolutely committed to customer satisfaction and service. You will feel attended to and pampered. The cons: Quite expensive. Not the most creative or «foodie» oriented menu; this is a basic steakhouse, and the side dish inventively billed as Thai green beans has about as much spice to it as your grandmother’s mashed potatoes. Impeccably cooked, though — they definitely know how to use heat to their best advantage to get a flavorful sear on everything including the sides. Not all of their prep cooks are impeccable. One evening the mashed potatoes were inedibly gluey, a very basic prep mistake. Other sides have been spectacular, like the delicious and well plated burrata and the very flavorful house Caesar. The steaks are gorgeous and perfectly cooked with excellent technique. The line cooks handle meat with confidence and generally get it spot on. Overall, definitely would recommend as a special occasion steakhouse.

I’ve had great experiences here where everyone’s food came out perfectly, with great service and the overall kind of experience you expect when paying s premium price. I have also had terrible experiences here where the steaks were underdone, cooked to shoe leather, and orders coming out wrong. When they are on their game it is awesome. When they are not, it is insulting because of the price point. If they could be more consistent, I would give them five stars.

This was my first visit to Flemmings and I have to say my prejudice against it as a chain was unfounded. We had the loveliest time here thanks to the wonderful waiter and delicious food. Really. Every single thing we ordered was delicious and above and beyond what I expected from a chain. We went with a party of 9 and our orders ranged from filet mignon to a vegetarian compilation. The flavorful calamari preparation was the best I’ve had — I am certain it will ruin calamari for me in the future. The sauteed spinach was rich and flavorful — not too mushy, not too greasy. The mashed potatoes were sumptuous and fluffly. The petit filet mignon was tender and moist. The dessert — DONOTSKIPDESSERT — I ordered was a New York cheesecake with raspberry sauce and fresh whipped cream that kind of knocked my socks off. The raspberry sauce in particular was delicious and very very obviously made from scratch the proper way, and even the fresh whipped cream was delightful.

Well… I’m going to give them a 3. Our first experience was a 5 and our second was a 1. First time, excellent food and service. They also gave us a sweet anniversary dessert and a discount on our meal. We went back the next year for our anniversary. Gone was the great service(our server complained the entire time and said his true calling was hair styling). We also did not get the dessert or the discount. Not worth it for the price.

Please note the rating is for the FOOD, not service or management. Server and manager were very helpful, attentive and did everything they could. BBQSHRIMP– Supposedly«French Quarter» style but anyone from New Orleans would scoff at their rendition. Shrimp were so unbelievably over cooked it was like chewing on a tire. Had to use a steak knife. Sauce is nothing more than butter reduced with hot sauce. CAESAR– Less than one small handful for a $ 10 salad. Dressing had far too much egg. Garnished with crispy prosciutto and fried capers. Why anyone would fry a caper, I will never understand. My husband and I jokingly referred to the garnish as cardboard eggs and salty paper for the rest of the meal. ASPARAGUS– charred. And not on purpose. I love a good charred veg but this was not their intention. FILET– Both were ordered medium. Both came out on the underside of medium-rare. Husband ate his anyway. They re-cooked mine and it came out still just as rare, only this time it had a hard black crust over top. Another thing I’ll never understand is cooking to temp in a 1600 degree oven. Science, bro, just science… FLEMINGSPOTATOES– Meh… $ 140 later and I am writing this review to remind myself the next time I try to coerce my husband into going to Fleming’s that VINNIE’S is SO much better. I don’t mind dropping some cash on a great meal, but that’s just it– it needs to be edible.

We were pleasantly surprised with our experience at Fleming’s where the family came for dinner to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. This was our first visit. We were greeted warmly and wishes for a happy anniversary came throughout the evening from the host, our waiter and the manager of the evening. The DH started with the wedge salad that he shared with our daughter. The DH and I decided on the prix fixe menu of filet mignon and New York strip for two cut and served table side with roasted potatoes and green beans. The daughter went with the small plate of sliced filet mignon served on shiitake risotto with chili oil and porcini butter drizzle. Portions were just right; didn’t leave us overstuffed. Dessert included the crème brûlée and chocolate lava cake which you need to let your waiter know in advance so they can have it prepared and ready to serve when you’re done with your meal. Wine was exceptional as well. The DH had the Sweet Shiraz and I had the Cotes-du-Rhone. Service was attentive and while it was a busy night, our waiter had time to chat about football. The staff left us a parting gift of a box of truffles for our anniversary which I thought was a sweet touch.

So we have now learned that this is an awesome place to treat someone to a birthday dinner. Brought Husband here for his birthday Thursday night. Had 6:00 reservations via Open Table. Birthday was acknowledged repeatedly through our experience here. Nice! Comfy booth. Excellent Server. Husband liked his Manhattan. I enjoyed a nice glass of white and an inexpensive but tasty red with dinner. We shared a Modern Caesar to start along with their great parmesan crusted bread with chardonnay gorgonzola butter and basil tomato butter. Husband had the 8 oz. Filet Mignon with asparagus and gorgonzola cream sauce. He loved it! There was a lot of oohing and aawing going on, which is music to the ears of the one paying for the birthday experience. Score! Meanwhile I did the Newport Filet, which is a smaller(6 oz) cut… I opted for the Diablo Shrimp topping, served with Fleming’s potatoes(supposed to be cheese, jalapeño and cream au gratin)…I didn’t detect anything jalapeño, but it was cheesy good. The Diablo shrimp was three large shrimp(shared with Husband) in a crushed red pepper butter. It spiced up the otherwise simple food nicely. Loved the salad, by the way. They split it for us, which is nice, and very much appreciated by us. Fried capers, prosciuto, and the parmesan crisp really made it… much preferred to croutons. With a very light(almost too light) dressing. We both enjoyed this refreshing start to our meals. Too full for dessert, they were kind enough to send Birthday Husband home with a four-pack of large truffles, and a $ 25 gift certificate. Nice!
