Went there for the first time for Karaōke and wasn’t happy with the service or food. You can tell its family owned the waitress wasn’t pleasant. We sat for about 30 minutes before she came over and asked what we wanted to drink. I asked for a drink and a friend asked for water, let’s just say we didn’t get either. Then another 30 – 35 minutes before we could place our food order. I’m from the north so I love seafood, but this place was a huge disappointment. Our food came out another 30 minutes which was cold and basic. I ordered the clam crowder, fries, shrimp and clam strips. What I got was cold mush, cold fries, and cold shrimp and scallops, which I had to drink with watered down sweet tea because our«great» waitress never came over to refill. We sat at our table with plates because she never bothered to take them away. Karaōke was cool but the food and service was horrible. I will never be going back.

Went for Karaōke and was so pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The service was great and karaōke was fun! Definitely worth the trip from Fayetteville.

Not a fan. I ended up here because of an open mic night, which wasn’t that good. Def an older crowd. Super slow service, and I feel like they use the same oil for everything. My french fries tasted like fish and I had a piece of mozzarella stick in them. If you have allergies beware.

Food was great, everything was nicely seasoned. They really know how to make some fish too! The wait wasn’t as long as I thought it would be, and the cashier was friendly which was a plus!

Food was pretty good the first few times I visited this restaurant, but the prices are way too expensive for the food you get. I normally ordered seafood, and a couple of times ordered the chicken. The seafood was very good, but the chicken was mediocre. The last time I ate there, we were seated immediately upon arrival, but it took over 15 minutes to be greeted by a waitress to take our order, even though several staff members walked by our table, and I know they could see we hadn’t been waited on. There was even a heavy-set man sitting at a table in the near distance doing nothing, and he didn’t bother to get up and ask us if we needed help. Finally, I asked one of the people who was clearing the tables where our waitress was, and voila! at that moment, she was on her way to our table. What a coincidence! We were almost out of patience and were getting ready to leave. If the waitress would have been a few seconds later, we would have left. Our food wasn’t good. I don’t know if it was just that the food wasn’t good or a combination of the food and the lousy customer service.(Probably the latter.) We don’t plan on patronizing this restaurant anymore due to this negative experience. We can find the same type of seafood elsewhere at a better quality and for a better price. We chose this place because it was close, but sometimes you need to venture out a little bit to find something better and well worth your time!

Well for starters when we walked in it was only one hostess who was missing at the time seating someone else. We had to wait a few minutes to even be seen, then had to wait some minutes for them to even find us a seat… We sat dow, it was 5 of us. Only 2 menus was placed on the table. We had to share menus until I asked for some. The service was extremely slowww. BUT our waitress was extremely nice. It just seems like the everything was slacking. We placed our order. And waiting an extremely long time. The place wasn’t packed, but to the servers it seemed like it was. It took maybe like 15 to 20 minutes or more for the food to come out. I ordered the house side salad, broiled tilapia, rice and gravy and cabbage. The food was okay. The broiled tilapia needed more flavor. Cabbage was great. Rice and gravy were okay. House salad was complimentary so I won’t complain but it was LOADED with cheese. So I couldn’t enjoy it like I wanted but it was free :) I will give it another try as I think it was just a bad day. I support local and I really believe in this place.

Small portions for not so good food. I spent $ 30 for my meal and a meal for a 5 year old. Don’t waste your time!

I came in with a large group for a birthday dinner. It’s a good sized space where parking is shared with the several other businesses in a strip mall setting. We rolled so deep that they had to stack maybe 7 tables end-to-end to make us comfortable. That was a strong display of customer service, which goes a heck of a long way with me. A couple members of our clan were a bit on the demanding side and the server(s) handled them with sensitivity and ease. On top of all that, our orders were taken in a timely manner and dinner was served to the whole party in under a half hour. That’s impressive, considering the place was half full and most other restaurants usually take longer in dealing with a such a huge number. The service was top notch. My sister sat beside me and ordered some red liquor drink. The bartender(?) brought it over and leaned in a hefty serving of cleavage just inches from my face. Good thing I didn’t mistake that for my order! Did I mention how great the service was? Free hush puppies just kept coming without us having to ask. They were pretty good — might have been just okay, but I was starving and needed something to munch on. I ended up ordering the catfish sandwich and calamari appetizer. The catfish was bare bones, came in two thick pieces, and might’ve been the worst I’d ever had. As I mentioned in my «The Blistered Pig» review in Apex, catfish can taste muddy because that’s how they lived when alive. The Pig manages to reduce that offensive flavor somehow, while Fitz doesn’t in the slightest. Now, one could argue that anyone who orders catfish understands what they’re getting into and therefore enjoys that acquired taste. Fitz might be going for that. The calamari was fried hard and heavily seasoned, but it worked well. I liked it. Their fries were good and the tartar sauce was fantastic — and I don’t normally like creamy sauces like that. Tartar sauce for the win here. My bill came in at around $ 18 and checking in via Unilocal knocked off 10% for a special deal, which showed up on the bill as a «senior citizen» discount and I almost had her take it off because of it. Vanity, I know. It’s a good spot, okay in a pinch, didn’t love the food. Thoroughly impressed with the service.

I’m not pleased with the menu at all. High prices for little food. I ordered a Trout Fish Sandwich to go. When I looked in the box, I had 1 piece of fish on a hamburger bun. No lettuce or tomatoes(I’m saying that because of the hamburger bun). It came with a side and coleslaw(I thought coleslaw was a side too, but you can’t change it… I don’t even eat coleslaw). Spoke with management about it. My complaint is that for $ 8.92, you get 1 piece of fish. Who cares about the sides when i ordered a sandwich. I would’ve got a dinner if I wanted sides. The menu isn’t realistic. Don’t think I’ll be back.

I’ve gone to this restaurant 4 times… I had one bad experience. Service was slow… Waitress took a long time to refill drinks and take initial order. However my croaker was great and the hush puppies excellent!

This spit was suggested by a friend n it was a good recommendation. The atmosphere was chill n they were playing some old school music. It was a very nice experience. We had no problems at all. The food was good n served hot! I had scallops n shrimp that were seasoned to perfection. N the coleslaw was better than KFC!!! That says a lot to me. LOL.

The seafood is fresh, the décor is wonderful and the restaurant nice big and spacious, it also has a wonderful sports bar, and like any seafood restaurant is always packed and bustling. now personally for me the food while being fresh lack any real flavor, I guess I’m kind of biased because being a native of Jamaica we like our foods spicy and very seasoned. this is a wonderful spot for families, a date or even to take your self out on a dinner date. the price is in the ball park for seafood. the potato salad is excellent, hush puppies man I could eat a whole tray of those, like a said wonderful fresh seafood but not big on flavorful spices.

I waited as long as I could for my wife(who wanted this first to review), but I can wait any longer. We came here with our 8 month old daughter, and waited in a line for take out, because no one met us at the front desk to be seated. probably waited 5 minutes to figure that out, and I was already upset before we even sat down. After we were sat by our«waitress», the women who got us seated from the front desk actually came over and took our drink order first, before our waitress. Which was weird because we had already sat there for 5 minutes and we were ready to order, but couldn’t place it it with the front seating girl. After we finally ordered, our waitress was absolutely amazing, which is the only reason this review is 2 stars, not one. The food was good, the price was appropriate, and the flavor was what it should be. But I cant get past the service… When my wife reads this, she is gana kill me(sorry Chantell) I would go back, but under 2 conditions: 1. I order take out. 2. I’m not in any hurry
