Dr. Stolfo really cares about families making sure everyone can afford what they need to have better vision. If your kids want contacts and they are not a good fit she will tell them so you don’t have to be the bad mom, especially if it is a really expensive prescription. She doesn’t sugar coat just to get a sale.
The entire staff is knowledgeable and courteous so happy to have them in North Raleigh!

I love Dr. Stolfo! She is so informative and kind. She is the best eye doctor that I have ever been to! I have been a patient at this office for over 2 years.
However, I was trying on glasses there and the lady who was helping me was completely irritated the entire time. The year before that I went there was a guy who was helping me try on glasses. He was so courteous and even helped me afford new glasses.
I was completely baffled by this negative experience. This lady did not discuss solutions to afford the glasses, and she was aggressive with helping me understand my prescription. After realizing that I was paying more this year, than previous years I decided that I was not going to get the glasses. I walked out of that office irritated and this is NOT common at this practice. It makes me sad that I even need to write this review. I will no longer be a patient there.

So, last year I went to this establishment after finding it on this website. I found everyone to be essentially friendly and Dr. Stolfo, I feel, is very talented. I walked out feeling like it was a pleasant experience.
My contacts are super expensive and I don’t have insurance so my first instinct is to go to 1800Contacts and order a supply for as cheap as I can get them– but I felt guilt tripped into ordering my supply from their office to «support local business” — which I do, so I did. I was given rebate forms to mail in to make up for the difference in price– which were lengthy and very annoying. I never saw that money back. The contact company returned those forms and said they were expired on my date of exam and purchase.
I was pretty upset about that considering the economic situation. but this year when I ran out of contacts and finally was able to reorder from 1800Contacts this time, Dr. Stolfo didn’t let the sale go through because my Rx had apparently expired.
I know where I won’t be getting that new prescription.

Dr. Stolfo is the best! I’ve been going to this Eyedeals for a number of years and always have a good experience. I had some issues with my eyes a year or so ago and they could always fit me in. The staff is super nice. One of my co-​workers goes here as well and they would ask him how my eyes were doing. If you’re looking for an eye doctor look no more. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

A really great experience, from the moment I walked in to make an appointment (which I got the next day as they had to work around my goofy schedule) to the moment I walked out with a new and improved prescription.
Dr Stolfo just couldn’t have been better, explaining what she was doing as she examined my eyes and asking for details when my reply to any question was more than the usual «fine». I felt totally at ease putting myself — and my eyesight — into her professional hands.
I have been wearing glasses for over thirty years now and have only had one eye doc in that time who came close to being as good as Dr Stolfo is and that was someone in another country over two decades ago.
I recommend this practice — and this doctor — without reserve.
