I’m one of those Unilocalers that are really only moved to write an actual review when I am extremely displeased with the service I’ve received — this is not the case with this review. Nourshi is AMAZING! after doing a lot of research online, I was looking for a laser hair removal practitioner that had the ability and equipment to treat darker skin. After digging through the reviews (many are not actually posted on Unilocal — I came across another African American woman that shared her experience w/​Excel Lase (ok, super encouraging– someone like me, going through the same exact problem!!) NO Woman likes facial hair… but we all understand… its one of those things that just happen! After I switched birth control — a MAJOR MAJOR side affect was facial hair growth! I literally had to shave EVERY MORNING! God forbid I was in a rush and forgot — my day was RUINED. After a couple of sessions, my facial hair was almost non factor! This is ABSOLUTELY worth every penny you will spend on it! Modern science is amazing — something that we, as women, would have to live with and suffer through can be taken care of at minimal cost and only slight discomfort (if life were that easy) ;))
If you’re suffering embarrassing facial hair or just plain sick of shaving — this is definitely an investment you should consider making — it really change your life
(side bar — I had no scarring and again, I never looked forwarded to getting the treatments, but was always glad that I did. Its really almost made me forget that I had this problem to begin with!)

The owner is a former electrical engineer so she truly understands the science behind what she does. This is a small business with huge professionalism. I’ve always had to Shave my neckline at least once a week and I am currently working towards never having to do it again!

Noushi makes you feel very comfortable and takes the time to answer all your questions and is very knowledgeble about the lasers and how they work and what you should expect. Great work, great prices, wonderful doctor. Noushi went out of her way to make me feel comfortable on my first visit. I’m getting a package deal for tattoo removal and it’s seriously the best price I’ve ever been quoted for it (and I’ve looked around a lot). She quotes you a price for full removal and if you pay for the package beforehand and the tattoo isn’t removed by the time you use the sessions you paid for, she will continue treating you for free for a year afterward! If the tattoo is completely gone before using all the sessions, she will refund you the difference. Seriously a great deal. I fully recommend Noushi and ExceLLase as the best place around to do this sort of thing.

Noushi is a master at her craft! Not to mention she is very conversational and will quickly put you at ease. She takes time to explain the procedure in detail and ensure you are comfortable and aware of everything that will happen. I’m glad I found her and even more glad to have gotten rid of the hair on my neck and back. Not sure why I waited so long to do this.

Noushi has changed my life! I’m getting laser hair removal on my upper lip, underarms and a Brazilian. After the first treatment already I noticed a huge difference. Noushi was very gentle and I really didn’t feel much pain. I highly suggest going to her for any type of laser procedure. I plan on getting some cool sculpting of my thighs done with her also. I can’t wait!

I came very close to buying a laser hair removal package at a national chain. They pulled a bait and switch that made me decide to do some online review reading before signing. I am so glad I did because I found Noushi by searching best laser hair removal in Raleigh on Unilocal.She has a fabulous laser and knows how to use it! I have now completed my third of a five treatment package for underarm and bikini. I am definitely happy with my results so far.
What to expect: it’s more of an uncomfortable feeling than an actual «pain». I think it would hurt if she didn’t have cold air blowing while the laser is doing its thing. After the session, the treated area looks kind of rough, but normals out after a couple of days. Within two weeks, a «shedding» process starts where all of the hairs with exploded follicles start pushing there way out. Depending on the location, you may not even notice this happening. For a fee weeks, you are hair free and loving it. Then, the next cycle of active hair growing starts and it’s time to get those treated. It shouldn’t take more than 5 sessions to get them all. The hairs that grow after the first session are different. The next set of hairs comes in more fine, which is awesome.
I am going to get an old tattoo removed by Noushi as well. Will post an update!

I agree with all that has been written here. Noushi is smart, funny, and very competent. She’s also very accommodating. I think all her phone numbers are connected so no matter what she is doing, you can reach her. Even on short notice, which I do all the time, she will try her best to squeeze you in, and almost always finds a way. If you’ve never tried laser hair removal, this is the place to do it!

Noushi is a degreed engineer and a highly skilled aesthetician. She not only knows how to make you look your best, she also knows the equipment she uses very well, and knows what it will do and what it won’t — so if she says she can do something, count on it being true.
Not only that, she gives great value for the cost of her services. Her prices are right, and her office warm, friendly and easy to get to. She takes all the major credit cards, and has great packages too.
A personal note: Noushi is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met in my life, and I mean that not only for what she does as part of her business, but also as a person. I am transgendered, and instead of her making me feel uncomfortable, or me feeling like I had made HER feel uncomfortable, instead, I found instant acceptance and understanding. That won her a customer for life. She’s a true gem, and if you are a t-​girl like me, DEFINITELY give her a call.

Noushi is the best thing to happen to my life since I met my husband 5 years ago. Sessions with her are a joy because she is part genius scientist and part stand up comedian. She has literally changed my life and given me time back each day now that I don’t have to rid myself of hair that shouldn’t be there in the first place. I won’t say it’s painless, but she distracts me so well that I don’t really pay attention to the little stings. I would highly recommend her to anyone. At least try her out once… what do you have to lose besides your unwanted hair?

Just had my second session yesterday. Noushi was great at scheduling around my vacation. She even texted me a reminder of my appointment.
I was hair free for 2 blissful weeks after my first session, before the next cycle of hair started growing in. It’s amazing how fast shaving fell out of my routine, and I was not sorry to see it go.
I also decided to get my navel done, and Noushi did it on the spot. She really knows how to work the laser and I was pain free when I walked out.

Who thought laser hair removal could be so entertaining?
I went to see Nooshi (not sure if I have the spelling of her name right) a few months ago to get laser hair removal in a few areas where I really think God should not have put body hair in the first place. I have had it done once before, and remember it being a white knuckle painful and uncomfortably awkward experience.
But this time Nooshi set me right at ease, had me cracking up when she called totally au natural pubic hair the «Osama bin Laden look». Nooshi understands her laser machine like a true scientist — in fact she is a highly educated engineer who used to design computer chips. She is also a body hair removal evangelist/​entrepreneur, and great at what she does. The whole thing procedure went quickly and I was too entertained by the conversation to feel awkward. I will definitely be back for my follow up.
