Loved the owner and the space. Hair salon next door was so retro. Beer prices were ok as well.

The prices are great and the selection is wide given the small space. It’s dog friendly which is always a plus :) Outside there’s seating for two bigger groups. Seating inside is limited.

Yes, bottle shops in Raleigh are abundant, but Drink Drank Drunk is a gem. The atmosphere is so relaxed and it’s perfect for a sunny Saturday or Sunday. I wish I would’ve gotten his name, but the bartender last weekend was very helpful when discussing beers not only to me, but everyone around me. Everything is reasonably priced with no crazy markups seen at some other shops. Added bonus: their board game selection. They even have Jersey Shore the game, which you never knew you wanted to exist.

As an avid beer enthusiast, I was welcomed with a generous selection of smooth, delicious beers. Once you sit down, you’ll find it hard to leave.

Great beer and wine! Awesome bartenders. Wino Wednesday $ 3 per glass. Hidden gem in West Central Raleigh. They also have snacks. Signage says«Beer Wine & Hugs.» Definitely worth checking out.

D3 makes up for its very small interior by having extremely friendly staff, fun events, and a sense of community. Compared to other bottle shops, it doesn’t have the widest selection of beer, but it does carry a variety of wine, which sets it apart in my opinion. It definitely has something for everyone! On weekends they have fun events like a Zombie preparation run club on Saturday and slow group bike rides on Sunday. The run club was a great experience with fun and welcoming regulars and a range of distances depending on your skill level. D3’s small interior allows for a sense of bonding with other patrons that you would not get in a larger space, which makes it a great place for making new friends. It has a nice patio area outside for drinking and a unique interior design filled with cool antiques.

Amazing place! Great friendly bartenders, sociable clientele. I love this bar. I have to write more to appease the Unilocal gods I guess. So… The owners are awesome people. They also own the salon next door. You need a cut and a beer? Come on down. Don’t be shy. A lot of beers to choose from. Price ranges from 2 $ to ONEMILLIONDOLLARS! Swing through, pull up a stool and talk to strangers. All the coool kids are doing it. No need to lock up your bike. Everyone has your back. Cheers.

I met up with some friends, and almost had to call to see how to get there. I had known the salon was there, but took some serious deductive work to make my way in the door. The décor is an awesome throwback to Schlitz and retro cameras, among other awesome retro touches. It wasn’t too busy, but our bartender was very attentive and they have a pretty solid selection of beer(bring back Travelers Grapefruit please: D). It is an intimate LITTLE spot though, so I’d probably pass if there were more than 15 people there, but they do awesome with the space they do have :)

What’s in a name? Well with Drink Drank Drunk, it’s enough to intrigue me to seek them out and give them a visit. After a couple of visits here, I can say I am a fan. What’s unique about this little place? Well, it is indeed a little place. It’s like someone opened up the first floor of their house, placed a bar both in front and back then in the middle has a bottle shop thrown in. Another unique feature is all the retro artifacts all around on the shelves and in the windows/displays. Anything from 50’s to 80’s type items fill the place, makes for interesting viewing as well as conversation. Love the old scooter in the main window display, rockin’! Next, they have a great selection of beer, wine, and even coffee to choose from. If you can’t find what you want from the taps both in the front or back bars, then you can go to the big fridge section and pick your beer out of the fridge, bring it to the bar so they can pop the top for you. The bartenders I’ve seen are very knowledgeable about not only what they offer but the beverages themselves, I dig it. The atmosphere beyond the house feeling and the retro items is cool with all sorts of pallet wood work, shelves, a bar table made of cigar boxes, all sorts of awesome stuff. They even have a «pot luck Sunday» where you can bring in a dish and share/partake of what others bring in. All totaled=very cool. It may not be able to support a huge amount of people, but I like this little place. Bottom line: I’m a big fan of Drink Drank Drunk. Although it may not be spacious and support a lot of people… the diversity of beers/drink options, the cool eclectic items filling the shelves, the crafting of the place itself, the knowledge of the staff, and general vibe of the bar is great. I say come give them a try!

With all the bottle shops popping up in Raleigh, Drink Drank Drunk still stands out. Located as part of an attached space with a hair salon, they’ve got a front lounge area that’s set up as a room with the bigger bottle area and bar in back. And then a cut-over doorway into the hair salon on the side. Definitely a local spot given it’s discrete location and odd pairing with the salon, they had a handful of taps for draft beer at decent prices. The place is small but eclectically decorated with all sorts of knick knacks lining the space in addition to the shelves of bottles. It’s hard to describe Drink Drank Drunk, it’s just different. But a cozy neighborhood spot to grab a brew on Morgan Street. Check it out if you’re in the hood…

Intimate little spot beside Atomic Salon and Irregardless Café. This area of Raleigh is really building up and the neighborhood is developing it’s own little scene, especially with Trophy just down the road from this place. D3 has a great selection of solid beers to go and to drink at the bar. I like that they focus on the solid ‘go-to’ beers rather than the next most trendy and obscure rare beer. You’ll have no problem finding something to drink here. I love the bar and the couch in the front of the shop; a very comfortable place!

Sweet little spot, tucked away, right at the bend of Morgan Street. I really enjoyed the décor: much of the interior is made from recycled material. There were cigar-box sitars displayed on the wall and a warm, cozy ambiance. The bar area is pretty small, but cozy. I didn’t get a good look at the beers they had for sale(six packs on shelves), but it looked like a small, yet decent selection. I *was* going to try their coffee, but they didn’t have any fresh coffee brewed. So I just told the bartender, that was ok– I’d simply try a beer instead. I’m flexible! So I tried Crank Arm’s banana-flavored beer, which was on tap. It was good. Subtle, not too fruity, but somewhat heavy. I don’t think I could have stomached more than just one pint. Although a little off-the-beaten-path, I don’t think this spot will have much trouble doing business. It is attached to the quirky/funky/spunky Atomic Salon.(I wish *my* salon had a bar! What else do you do while you’re waiting for your color to process?) At any rate, I liked it, with or without the coffee.

Fashioned with an eye toward the sustainable and old-fashioned, Drink Drank Drunk offers a selection of bottled beers, wines, packaged teas and coffees(including Raleigh’s own Larry’s Beans) plus draft beers and wines by the glass at a cozy bar tucked away in the back of the shop. Take your tipple to go or linger on one of the couches or the charming patio and imbibe in style at Raleigh’s newest source for craft beverages!
