I wish I had switched years ago! I hesitated to leave my old vet (who I liked a lot) because my cat had gone there since I got her. But Lola hates getting in the car, even going to the bathroom in fear. I just couldn’t do it to her anymore. I asked around about a mobile vet and a friend recommended Dr. Heather Moeser.
Heather is very personable and friendly. I immediately could tell she would be good to my cat! She had to give me bad news but did it in a very caring and matter of fact way. She is compassionate and knows how much we love our animals! She even offered same day service on the blood results so I wouldn’t have to worry overnight! She is just a text away and is super responsive. I had a panicked moment late at night when I had problems giving my cat her shot and she called me and reassured me. She has a great assistant that can help out too. I am so glad I found her and I think you will be too if you are considering a mobile vet.

Heather is a wonderful, caring vet. When our dog Lucy was dying from cancer and stopped eating for a week I thought it was time to say good-​bye. I called Dr Moeser who came to our house and said no way was it time. She got lucy to eat a little bit, started helping us work with her med levels so to help her tummy settle down with the idea that we could try for a few days to see if we could make it better and if not say good-​bye then. Long story short we ended up with another 3 months with our girl. it was really nice to have that time and our other vets were ready to just let us decide it was time to put her down, Heather said let’s wait and make sure. Thank you Heather. I am so glad to have the extra time!

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing Dr. Heather Moeser is. I wish I would have met her under better conditions, but when my beloved dog, Miles was very ill about a month ago, I (being kinda new to the area and not having a vet yet) googled «Mobile Vet Durham» and was lucky enough to find her. I’ve always treated my animals holistically (when at all possible), which has been a source of conflict with other vets I’ve encountered. Heather went out of her way to provide me with as much information as she could, including the offer to further explore a holistic/​conventenial hybrid treatment plan to ensure we were doing everything we needed to be doing — as naturally as possible. Over the span of about a week we called and texted each other often, with Dr. Moeser offering not only her sage advice, but her honest and real concern for both myself and Miles. When things took the turn we all feared and knew was a possibility and I called her panicked at 3am she calmed me down and came right over. She rushed into action to cease his pain and then left us alone with him to have our final goodbyes. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do but I cannot fathom how I would have made it through without her kindness and professionalism. In the following days when she could have easily got caught up in the many things I’m sure she had on her plate, she checked in several times to see how we were holding up, her concern so evidently genuine. She obviously has a great deal of compassion and love for helping animals… but beyond that, for people as well. If you and your companion animal (s) are lucky enough to live in the Triangle I cannot recommend her services enough! As long as I live in this area I will never even consider another vet!
