Kim Coman was recommended to me by the Glenwood Agency and he inspected my new condo. Kim was also recommended by a coworker of mine who is also a recent first-time homebuyer. The inspection seemed very thorough, and he sent the report the next day. He was very congenial and professional throughout the process. He found many items in the condo, including a leaking garbage disposal, non-working balance shoes on the windows, and a slow sink drain. Since moving in, I haven’t discovered any new issues. One unexpected bonus with Kim was that I could pay with my credit card.

DONOTRECOMMENDPERIOD! Moved in with plumber’s putty on toilet shut off and called Kim Coman(was hired for my home inspection) immediately after I moved in(large puddle of water in bathroom) which was less than a week after re-inspection. I asked Kim Coman to come out to look at it and said his responsibility ends when he walks out of the house and said«it appeared to be no water damage on the floor at the time» A $ 120 shut off toilet repair which could have been covered at the sellers expense when the plumber was doing other repair work. We verbally agreed to split the difference over the phone, at my suggestion, I MAILEDTOCOMANATHISREQUEST copy of cancelled check and repair person contact information who performed the work as Mr. Coman requested this information before he could compensate me. Coman said«he needed more time to analyze the information» I followed up with Coman with a voicemail a week later to see what his excuse would be after I provided proof of repair payment and cancelled check,(no returned phone call), this man hides behind responsibility! Coman reneged on compensating me $ 60, citing to Amex after I disputed the charge. I signed a contract after spending nearly $ 600 for a home inspection and also told Amex I did not give him an opportunity to inspect the water leak before getting the repair! He refused to intially come out and look at the toilet, Remember«his responsibility ends when he walks out the door» Mr. Coman you had all your chances to make good by simply coming out to inspect and fix, instead you chose to wrangle your way out by me signing your contract, and actually had the audacity to tell American Express if I was not happy. I could file a small claims case. Merchant’s Response: Two Sides to Every Story — I am Kim D. Coman, the person disparaged in the review., I cannot comment on the allegations. Could the writer be a competitor or competitor’s friend? We just don’t know. What is clear is that I DO stand behind my home inspection services. I could not have stayed in business for over 15 years if I did not. I get compliments regularly on the excellent quality of my service. I ask that if you are in need of a home inspection, please disregard the review from someone who does not have the backbone to put their name on it. Give me a call to help you.
