Cat Banjo

Really adorable store that sells jewelry, accessories, quirky little knick knacks, and a small selection of clothing. Usually not much of a shopper but I always have a good time browsing here. A lot of the stuff in here (actually, maybe even all of it) is made by local artists.

Cat Banjo is an incredibly cute little store. They have a wide selection of jewelry ranging from delicate little necklaces to chunky bracelets. The store also supplies adorable baby accessories including caps, blankets, and pajamas all in super cute fabrics. There is a room dedicated to pet stuff– collars, leashes, bows, and toys. The canvas pet portraits were absolutely beautiful. Their clothes selection is pretty good, although they don’t have too much stock. The clothes were in fun fabrics, some with quirky sayings like «I’d rather be a mermaid.» The girl working there was super helpful and fun to talk to. The prices are what you’d expect from a boutique in Raleigh, not cheap but not totally unaffordable. Overall, I had a excellent experience and will definitely be back again.

I really enjoy looking around this store. Lots of unique items and they support a good cause. (Animal rescues) But, unfortunately the prices are just way to high. Every time I find that great gift it just costs too much. But, I have found they do have great sales, so I follow them on Facebook and signed up for their email updates.

I am in love with Cat Banjo! I have been a fan since they were in Cameron Village but I love their new spot on Glenwood Ave. I love the fact they have unique well designed pieces of funky jewelry reasonably priced. I also love their unique artwork and things for my furbaby. This is a store with a big heart also alot of their time and resources are spent helping out local rescue dogs. Cat Banjo You Rock!!!

I love this unique store. The prices are reasonable, and many items are even made in the USA. It’s fun, artsy and quirky. My favorite thing about Cat Banjo is their commitment to dog rescue. I make a point of going whenever I’m in the Raleigh area.

One of my favorite stores in the area. Perfect place for great gifts and I always manage to find so much stuff I LOVE and want. If you are a dog lover you will love the Banjo even more! They do so much to rescue and aid dogs in need. Plus you can’t beat all the awesome merchandise, hand-​made jewelry and art and the people (not to mention the great rescue dogs they sometimes have in the store. Thanks for being awesome Cat Banjo!

Very cute shoppe. Reasonably priced. Great for unique gifts!

I was wandering around Glenwood Avenue after a beauty appointment and discovered this little gem. It’s totally adorable! I love that they have clothes from local designers (I picked up a dress from a designer in Wilmington, and a skirt from a designer in Raleigh), and that many items were repurposed from other clothing/​fabrics. The prices are also extremely reasonable (similar items would cost at least 2 to 3 times as much at Anthropologie or Urban Outfitters). In addition to clothes, there are lots of funky accessories, such as sparkly scarves and wide selection of delicate, funky, and chunky jewelry. The shop definitely has a wicked sense of humor and a strong, likeable personality. The shopkeeper was so helpful and sweet, it was a pleasure to shop here. Supporting local places like this one gives me the warm fuzzies, especially when I get such cute outfits in return!

This shop is one of my favorite local stores in Raleigh. Unique jewelry, cute accessories, fetching clothes and… AND they are huge advocates in the rescue dog community.
I always buy something at the store. There’s always something new.
They’ve recently moved from Cameron Village to Glenwood South.
