I went to Boulias for a mani and pedi with Erica. She is great! I enjoyed chatting with her and she did a super great job on my nails. This place is very convenient to my house, and I loved the personal attention that I got. Although I did not get my hair done here, the lady that was leaving just as I was arriving had, and her hair looked amazing. Regarding the previous reviewers complaint… I used to have to wait 6 weeks to get in my hair stylist in Texas, I think 3 days is pretty reasonable, and standard.

I visited the salon after buying a Groupon and I’m super glad I did. Marcia gave me all over highlights and an amazing cut for $ 35 dollars. I’ll definitely go back, since there posted prices are really reasonable.

I am currently looking for a new salon, and found a groupon for Boulia’s that was a really good deal, so I though I’d give them a try. I purchased the groupon and called to make an appointment. The woman who answered the phone(she did not tell me her name) went through all the standard questions about what I need done, then asked me when I would like to come in. I told her that today, tomorrow or Monday would be best for me. Her response was to very curtly tell me that they were very busy and they wouldn’t be able to get me in until Wednesday. I explained to her that I am new to the area and staring a new job and really need to get in before then if possible. The woman did not even try to work with me. She just rudely repeated that they were very busy and the soonest they could get me in was Wednesday. I could understand not being able to get in if I was asking for a particular stylist, but I wasn’t. Plus there was no reason for the woman to be so rude to me about it. Now I understand that I didn’t personally experience any of their services, but if they way they conduct business over the phone is any indication of how they run their salon, I would stay far, far away. Salons are customer service based business, and I would expect that if they give good service in the actual salon, then they would also give good service over the phone. I think it is safe to assume that the same is true in reverse. Plus the salon receptionists I’ve dealt with in the past have always been very nice and very accommodating, so I would be wary of a salon who’s receptionist can’t even be nice to people over the phone.
