This barnes and noble location is definitely on the smaller side. seems a bit cramped compared to others i’ve been to. But, something new I did see here and not at others was a music store in the back! very cool. Not sure if it was popular though. I always love barnes and noble. I can browse through the aisles and sit and read a magazine for hours. Great place to study too! Will say that the parking here is pretty terrible but that’s because it’s attached to crabtree mall and the mall parking sitch is always bad news. Still, a great place to peruse new books and enjoy some time unwinding.

BUYSOMETHING, YOUFREELOADERS Isn’t it part of the social contract to buy something in the coffee shop you’ve decided to occupy for some undefined length of time? Honestly, I respect your ability to study whatever introductory level fluff in such bustling environs but — for the sake of your broader respectability as an air-breathing human being — *do* make a purchase if you intend to occupy the very limited table-space available to(and intended for) paying customers. So, if you’re in a coffee shop(no matter how noble your highlighting-obviously-too-much-for-someone-who-actually-understands-what-they’re-reading intentions)…buy a drink or clear that seat for someone who gives two flicks of a lamb’s tail about common courtesy and respectability.

Like any other book store, they have what you need/want. Magazines, books, kids stuff. Not a bad place to get work done. Kind of loud and distracting. Food is too expensive for what it is. Can’t beat sitting down and reading a free magazine, or a book for that matter.

This is a very nice Barnes & Noble. It has a great selection and there is a Starbucks inside. I’ve been going here for a number of years and find it a nice place to find what you need and to relax.

This is an OK B&N. It actually feels much smaller than the other B&N’s in the area. The reality is, it feels kind of cramped. They did have what I was looking for and the help was pretty good at helping me at least track down the section in this store, although they had trouble spotting the books(Some Idiot’s guides related to the music industry). With B&N being a big box store, I sort of expected the set up to be similar to other B&N’s once one got past the best seller and discounted previous best seller tables in the front, but that was not the case here.

Very helpful people here and I always find what I want and more. The guy at the nook counter with the beard has been awesome. He has TONS of info and can answer anything. The café is reasonably quiet, even crowded. Customer service gets 5 stars every time. The parking lot leaves much to be desired though.

If you want to study, do NOT come here. The tables are too small and it is much too crowded. The great thing about it is, you don’t feel pressure to buy anything. However, it’s just not a good place to think.

No matter what city, Barnes and Nobles is my favorite bookseller. I can live in this one and others for hours! Always a great selection of mags, books, and music! Where else can you go to sample a CD before you buy it? Only at a B & N!

Dropped in here on Sunday to pick up a book for my book club. I try to support the local libraries and save money by doing so, but the library had the book I need put me on the wait list and I wouldn’t be able to get it for 2 – 3 weeks. So immediately after getting off the phone with the library I called Barnes & Noble to see if they had it. A gentleman answered the phone professionally and quickly looked it up. Yes they had several copies of it. He took my phone number, first and last name, and stated that they’d hold it up front for me for up to 3 days. Lovely! Shortly thereafter I headed over to pick up my book. I was so tempted to wander around, but after the 3rd row I managed to pull myself to the front. A lady promptly walked over when she noticed that I was waiting and the other cashier was busy. No wait! She pulled the book off the waiting shelf. I wanted a better quality cover since that one was bent a little so she pointed me in the right direction and I went to find the rest. Ah! Such lovely new books! Brand new. Found a better copy and headed back up front after timidly peeking around. Back up to the register. I told her that usually I go to the library and she said, «well I guess then I won’t offer you our B&N customer discount card.» I declined and she then offered, «would you like to receive some of our coupons via email?» Sure! Sign me up. She bid me a good night and off I went. Smiling. I love bookstores. They’re so dangerous, yet so lovely. I find them inspiring. This Barnes & Noble always has such huge variety. I’ve literally lost hours in that store because there was so much to look at. The staff in there is always helpful and the coffee shop is peaceful and laid back. 5 stars for excellent service, variety, and stocking! :) Please note that it is called Barnes and & Noble, NOT Barnes & NobleS. There is no «s» on the end folks. Just wanted to put that out there since people read the sign and still say it wrong.
