Here’s an update on my avm50v that I took to these eff’n idiots to have the 3D upgrade kit installed. I just got off the phone with anthem and I was informed that the 3D card was installed improperly and then in turn damaged the video processing side of this expensive piece of equipment. Obviously audio video excellence doesn’t have any technicians that have any knowledge on audio equipment, but if you let them do any kind of repair on your stereo system, you got to have a screw loose. So the story I got about«it worked before you picked it up and it was in the box so you couldn’t see it not work» was actually the truth. I see why they didn’t want to look at it cause they already knew that they screwed it up cause I didn’t buy it from them. I wish I had the pleasure of working on their air conditioner…

Went in dressed casually(jeans, Hendrix T-Shirt, and unshaven from the weekend), asking about the Paradigm Monitor Series 7 lineup. The gentleman helping me first brought out a speaker that wasn’t even the correct brand. Then he brought out version 6 of the Paradigm Monitor series but assured me that it was the correct version 7 model. So then I had to pull up the v7 model on my phone to show him that the baffles were completely different and that the model he was showing me was, in fact, a version 6 speaker. As if to prove that he had no interest in selling anything to me, he didn’t even ask to take down my name in case a set came in and then told me that he was the only Paradigm dealer left in the area(turns out there is one literally across the street that had the version 7’s setup in their own listening room). If they don’t want my money, I’m not going to give it to them, but I shouldn’t leave any store with that bad of a taste in my mouth. Note: When I go into this store dressed in my work clothing, they always treat me 10 times better, but that doesn’t make up for the ignorance displayed during my last visit.
