High Grade Cleaning Products Visits: a few times R-Line Stop: R4 Over 3 years ago, we moved into our downtown condo and I was very pleased that our new condo came with stainless steel appliances. How nice! After a few months, I was no longer enchanted with my stainless steel appliances because they might not stain but you can see every wet or greasy finger print and all the cleaning products I tried left streaks! Ugh, I hate streaks! So one day I was in our Community Room, which has a full kitchen with the same stainless steel appliances, I saw the cleaning crew working on the appliances. When they finished, there were no streaks. What? OMG! Give me some of that stuff! I ran up to the guy with the spray can and rag and practically grabbed the can out of his hands. Yea, he was a little startled and probably thought I was some insane person stealing his cleaning supplies. I begged him to tell me where he got the stainless steel cleaner. I was shocked that there was a commercial cleaning supply company a few blocks from my home. I ran home(stood in the elevator), grabbed a jacket and a credit card, and jogged to Anderson. Like me, you probably have driven by this place a thousand times on Peace Street. It’s next door to the skateboarding place called Endless Grind and Flythe Cyclery across the street from Peace Camera. When I got there, I suddenly wondered if they sell retail, to individuals. I walked in and shyly asked if I could please buy some stainless steel cleaner and polish. The guy behind the counter walked out to greet me and said of course and asked what I needed. I practically cried on his shoulder about my streak woes. He was very understanding. Anderson sells two types of stainless steel cleaners, water based and oil based. He told me the pros and cons of each. He recommended the water based one, Sentry Stainless Steel Cleaner & Polish, and I agreed with him based on the advantages. I was pleasantly surprised that the cost wasn’t astronomical, only $ 6.45. A can lasts a couple of months so not expensive at all. I still had a little streaking and the next time I went into to buy another can, the sales person gave me advice on the type of cloth to use. Not 100% streak free but the best I have found over 3 years. I also found a glass cleaner at Anderson that I love(no streaks!) called So-Brite. A 19 oz can is $ 4.03. The employees have always been friendly, helpful, and willing to give out advice. Anderson carries a wide variety of cleaning products so the next time you have a cleaning issue, I suggest you visit Anderson.
