I haven’t shopped at Aldis’s in over a decade. My previous experience was not impressive. I decided to give it another try. I think each store varies in quality of experience. If you’ve never been to an Aldis’s there are a few things to know. bring a quarter for your cart(they do this to cut down on the inefficiency of employees returning carts to front of store). Bring your own bags– they don’t provide them for free– Also a cost cutting measure. It’s mostly generics and fresh fruits(although you can find a few big brands). They don’t bag your groceries — that’s what the tables in the front are for. I got out with a lot of food for ~$ 50. This one was much better store than the last I one I visited. Aldi’s is a small store — more like a «market» but I was able to find most of what I was looking for and get in and out in a short time.

Great place to shop for low priced goods. If you are a label whore, maybe the wrong place for you. They have a growing selection of good, cheap wine and cheeses. Produce is priced way below other grocery stores. Great place to shop for condiments, pasta, snacks and frozen foods for kids. I freaking love this place. Just make sure to bring a quarter and your own grocery bag.

Best grocery store for pasta, snacks, and condiments. I heard that this store is affiliated with Trader Joes. There are certainly things you may not buy here(toilet paper, meats, etc), but in a pinch or to save significant dollars, this is a great place! When I was juicing, I bought tons of fruits and veggies here. Whenever I donate to food drives(for people or animals) I get a cartload for pennies on the dollar. Having a party? They now have a larger selection of cheeses, beers, and wines! Need a ladder or food processor? Yup. They have appliances and blankets too. If you are a label *hore, they have some name brands here and there. I like their basic rules: bring your own bag, buy one of ours, or take an empty box cash or debit pay to rent a cart
