Fail. Fail. Fail, fail, FAIL. Oh, by the way??? Fail. I went here twice when they were supposed to be open — and supposed to be having karaōke — during the hours they have clearly posted on their door. It was dark, dank, and dusty in there, no horribly-singing, drunken patrons, nor sweet preggo karaōke DJ diva to be found. Chairs were up on the bar, for goodness sake. This was at least an hour after karaōke was supposed to have been popping, on both occasions. I’ve driven by on other random times since then, and they have almost never(literally, almost never) been open when they’re supposed to have been. What kind of wack weirdness is this??? I’d been trying to try it out based on some posts I’d seen on Facebook for it, from their very own page for the most part, advertising specials, etc. For them just to have opened, I don’t know what’s up with them… not being actually«open.» The story with being closed on karaōke night is… the karaōke DJ was faithfully advertising her show before its supposed start time, including on the day of, up to several hours before. She didn’t receive notice from the owner that they were staying closed until perhaps an hour and a half before the show was due to begin, so she had to post a last-minute cancellation based on his last-minute notice. Apparently, from what I was told, that’s not the first time that has happened. I won’t be trying to visit 29Ten again«on purpose»… although if I happen to ride by and have nothing at all better to do with my life at that exact moment… I may pop in to see what the ambiance is like with the chairs on the actual floor rather than on top of the bar. And with actual, real people inside.
